What rank do you get from silver 5 when you win 2 or all of your promos

I really want to get to gold p.s what do you guys think about people being carried by their friends because of the matchmaking system. I won the last 3 ranked games but I often feel annoyed by enemy top laners who I crushed being carried

If you hit gold by being carried by your friends and get it, as soon as you start to play solo, you will loose a lot, and drop. Just word of the wise. Unless you never want to do ranked after you hit gold.

Generally speaking, you only go up one division at a time. So If you win your promos from Silver V you get Silver IV. There are some cases where you can skip divisions if your MMR is high enough, but I think that usually only happens to like diamond+ people ranking up smurf accounts. You do seem like you're doing well overall though, so if you keep it up you shouldn't have too many problems climbing for another division or two.

Silver 5 last season, you will get placed in bronze no matter how many you win. They soft reset mmr at the start of the season. I was silver 4 last season, kinda gave up half way through because of work and school. I won 10 of my promos at the beginning of the season, got placed in B5. Got out of bronze in 3 days.

I was silver 2 last season, I finished my placements with 6 losses and 4 wins and was placed in silver 5

if you were silver 5 last season and you do all of your 10 provisional games, you will end up somewhere in Bronze, regardless of how many games wins

Because they soft reset your MMR at the start of every season, whether you end up il bronze 4 or bronze 2 depends on how many won, but it's no big difference tbh
