Kog'maw
What is Kog as of season 5?
That "passive" which doesn't even fit into context of his lore.
Sion is undead. Give him a passive which triggers after death. Fine. Karthus is a lich with powers revolving around death. Give him a passive which triggers after death. Fine. Zyra is a plant who controls a human body, after she dies, she will go back to a plant. Give her a passive which triggers after death. Fine.
But Kog? Kog is a Voidborn whose powers revolve around corrosive, bioarcane liquid projectiles. Yet has a passive having to do with his own death. What is wrong with the above sentence?
1: Bioarcane. Kog'Mage can be pretty strong. But in no place in his lore does it suggest that he can manipulate magic.
2: Corrosive. Which of his projectiles are corrosive? Is it just his Q being corrosive and nothing else? When he activates his W, are those shots "corrosive" and melt away a portion of the enemy's max hp, or are they "MAGICALLY INFUSED?" the latter would build onto point 1, which would contradict this entire "Bioarcane Barrage" name.
3: Liquid. As we all know, Kog fires LIQUID projectiles which deal damage. Now, now, I know. Nami does that too with her ebb&flow. BUT NAMI HAS CONTROL OVER MAGIC WHICH ALLOWS HER TO DEAL DAMAGE WITH HER WATER. The only way for these liquid, non corrosive projectiles to deal any damage would to have them traveling at speeds of around mach 30, which they obviously aren't doing.
4: Death. By far, this is the worst possible passive in the entire game. At least Zyra's passive has 1500 range and a fast missile speed. At least Sion's passive allows him to retain his tankiness while dealing increased damage. At least Karthus's passive allows him to cast spells. But a post-death passive on Kog? Try to chase an enemy? they dash, blink, heal. Yes they can also do this with the previous 3, but which of these champions, before death, does not have a strong, reliable cc? None.
Kog's E is somewhat useless, and his passive and spells are out of context.
