Flex 5v5 is broken

Season 6 I ended Silver 5 When this new queue came out, Flex 5v5, I thought I'd give it a shot I went 7W and 3L in my placements and was placed in Silver 4 I was pretty happy about this, played a few games, won some lost some and was on 32 LP

Then today, I played 2 games of ranked. The first one was a remake because the JG dc, in the post game lobby I was greeted with the message telling me that my climb would start at Bronze 2 this season. I was a bit confused, and when I checked my profile it said I had completed 14 out of 10 placement games and had no rank. I played another ranked game afterwards, a loss but I didn't do terribly, and I was greeted with another message saying that my climb would start at Bronze 3 instead now. Low and behold, when I checked my rank it actually said I was Bronze 3.

So I was Silver 4, and then for some reason I'm now Bronze 3. What is this? Has this happened to anyone else? If it's because I got the wrong rank or something I would at least like to redo placements.
