Late game Zyra can out duel a fed Riven(on a support budget no less), providing she does not come from out a bush or over a wall or something. Best? Debatable. But quite good.

Gangplank scales incredible well with farm due to his barrels (which let him crit in an AOE and have bonus armor pen) and his ultimate (which lets him assist anywhere on the map while splitpushing).

His pressure and scaling are fantastic during late-game teamfights and he's difficult to lockdown due to his W and bonus movement speed when detonating a barrel.

Karthus is probably the highest DPS mage in the game due to his Q and E providing massive sustain damage during fights. In addition, his ultimate is guaranteed to hit every champion on the enemy team; at full build, his ultimate alone can deal around 1000 damage to each target.

Also, his passive is terrifying. Even if you get focused down and die early in the fight, you can still use your abilities. If your team is good at keeping them fighting on top of you, you will melt their team very quickly.
