Prioritize cdr>armpen>ad, but get a defensive item 4th.

I've never played noc mid, but I find that anytime you take a champ (especially one that doesn't see a lot of play) and put them in an unconventional role, as long as they somewhat fulfill the traditional requirements it will be enough to take most people off guard and do reasonably well. For example, I've been playing a significant amount of Nautilus mid with great success. The real question is, if Nocturne mid became popular and people were used to it, would it still be good?

I can see it being really effective against mages that are heavily reliant on one key spell, such as Lux or Ahri.
