Auto-fill needs to be removed or at least be optional. The reason presented by riot for its existence is that que times would be much too long without it. I do not care if I have to wait longer to get in a game, as long as I can play the role I want. If I am auto-filled, I will dodge, making me wait the same time as if it wasn't implemented. If my teammate gets auto-filled and doesn't want to dodge, he will just troll and either go "duo top" or int. The report system for the game doesn't prevent this because as long as you don't type in chat you are in the clear. In ranked, auto-fill is even worse. If my teammate gets auto-filled and doesn't dodge, we lose. It is ridiculous. Why is it in the game. There are 0 upsides.

They need to rework the entire position system.

I think they should take another swing at positional matchmaking. The premise was quite good: when you get autofilled, you won't ruin your rank with your main role and you won't be put in a game with people of the rank you play your main role at when you're playing an off role. They just needed a stronger incentive to get people to actually try when they got autofilled. Perhaps special end-of-season rewards for the people that maintain a good rank in all roles, or a separate, combined score across the different positions.
