I wanted to hear from everyone if they think the match making is in a good spot atm for normals. Currently while leveling my new account to learn the new rune system I've come across some questionable "balanced" teams. I know normal and ranked games have different MMR's but imo I feel like having ranked MMR somewhat affect the normal mmr would be more balanced overall.

FullmuteAll play1 votesThe matchmaking refers to win rate, so yes it is balanced. If you ace game by game then it means you need higher class players. if you can't fight them aka you lose then you get lower class players.
No, then you Diamond can create Bronze account and rofl-stomp every normals.
Btw the pool isn't integer, as main topic and the pool question have opposite approach to answer.
