Nidalee.... Well, you know that part of a team fight where people hover around each other before the engage happens? This is where a good Nidalee player thrives and makes sure your team comes out on top of the team fight, if there is a Nidalee on your team, you're going to win that poke war before the team fight breaks out. Nidalee should be able to send their ADC back to heal along with any other squishy people. Then there's that AS buff that others have mentioned, this makes a MASSIVE difference to your ADC's AS. A skilled Nidalee player is an extremely valuable asset to any team.
On a side note, she has probably the best roaming in the game, she can easily roam around in the absence of her enemy laner and quickly turn around any lane. While she's roaming she can also toss down some traps in key areas where the enemy jungler would travel.
On top of all this, those Spears at max range on a well built Nidalee will nuke Baron and Dragon, more so than a smite, which leads to likely steals if the enemy team isn't 100% careful when taking these objectives. Stealing said objectives in itself is a great reason to have a Nidalee around, not to mention the buffs from these objectives are extremely helpful in team fights, so there's another +1 to team player.
Hard to aim near instant deletion of squishies.
Shes actually very weak in team fights which is why as nidalee you should be looking to snowball and end the game by or before 20 mins. If the game goes late, your best bet is to split push or become a 2nd support with your E and just sit far back by ur ADC & throw spears.
Look to pick people off in team fights and throw spears.
Being an annoying bitch & throws spears from a distance.
The AS buff for the ADC, and spears that chunk a squishy for 50% of their health (down from 75% pre nerfs), yet do little to a tank.
Easy assassination of the backline, plus her heal/AS buff.
