Most people would probably recommend aery /resolve, but you could try Glacial Augment / Presence of Mind / Legend:Tenacity for a decent lane bully build, and build twin shadows/hextech GLP later for some really nice crowd control and easy setups for your RQ and team follow-up. Just auto'ing an enemy with its slow can be enough to let your team catch someone out of position.

Glacial Augment is a vastly underrated rune, especially on supports.

As a fellow karma OTP, she feels lackluster to me atm.

It's not the rework I really wanted but hopefully it pushes her into a better state than she is now.

Personally atm I would only pick karma when my team is a AA based (example. jax, camille, irelia, sejuani, late game adc ect) team fighting team. I would get...

support item (spell thiefs if you can poke well otherwise coin will get more gold quicker and your access to wards quicker) + pots
support tier 2
mobis or defensive boots (ionia boots aren't bad either)
ardent censor
defensive items (redemption, locket, knights vow, Athenes, Zyhonas)

If you wanna play damaged based (make sure to hit that Q) Rush sorc boots + oblivion orb for the flat PEN (your base damages will pop squishys) and then ludens echo.

Today's meta is alot about damage so u can go down that path BUT if your team gets behind you will be killed in 0.16s or less and late game your damage falls off hard. So as a support with less gold than everyone I recommend just focusing on surviving, after ardent censor you just wanna be able to stay alive from the burst so tanky items with CDR and utility actives are the way to go.
