Hey guys so I do pretty well laning phase beating majority of my oppenents going 5/1 majority of the time until laning phase is over, however my friends have critised me saying im strong early game however mid to late game i end up on a dying streak a lot As I might be going 5/1 but at the end of the match ill go around 7/12, this is very apparent when i play squishy champs, i need some tips on how to position myself and what I should do when the rest of the team are spread out on the map and im on mid lane against 5 grouped up enemys charging towards me.. Should i just abandon the lane even after numerous attempts of assistance pings? Give me some tips and tricks

if it is 5v1 mid lane, drop the tower and back up, rarley you'll be able to defend. Depending on the champs you usually have to play a bit safer and you need vision. Ward with your team to see rotations and just work on positioning so they cant engage you if your alone but with team make sure you aren't on the front line but can still poke decently if that is your comp. if you have a pick comp ward extra and if your all in then wait for the engage then blow em up but just try and be safe. I play high risk high reward assassins so even me playing safe i get caught sometimes or focused but im working on it to. trying to average a 3.0 kda currently at like 2.5 on most my champs or what not : )

Yes , a point about vision, if your in bronze/silver league you can forget about wards all together, nobody wards apart from the support and maybe some casual wards, Sometimes I have game where as the mid laner I have warded more times then the support, i upgrade the trinkets fairly soon, when I ask other players to simply stay in lane to get 250 gold so that they can upgrade their trinkets, they never listen... its really frustrating when preventable deaths can be avoided by simple warding ...

Warding is just so helpful with positioning because you may think your position is fine then BOOM you get flanked and die to a gank when a simple ward woulda spotted it a mile away. at 9 90% the time i buy it.
