what does the community think about shen jg

his jg clear is soso early but about lv 5 he is just as fast as every one else has a gap closer/taunt his ult allows you to hard farm then ult when a fight breaks out(shield is really strong) tanky as hell with good amount of damge with most people playing adc or melee adc the w can stop almost all damge from then for a few secs( taric ult with no 2,5 sec wind up)

He is a niche jgler. Mid game is strong. If you communicate effectively with lane you can pull off early ganks, but far too often Shen jgls afk farm early. As a result, early game jglers like lee, pant, etc. destroy the other lanes.

It's decent, but he's stronger mid~late game and not as oppressive early game, and most ppl prefer early game junglars to have global presence and snowball the team. In terms of ganking his dashing taunt is indeed very decent, but something like gragas or sejuani can do the same, except with more cc or burst at it during early game.

Also, isn't his sword visible even if he's hiding in a bush? If it is then that might prove challenging for him to gank.
