Does Kalista's Lategame Feel Unsatisfying to Anyone Else?

Or am I just really bad with her? It feels like most games that go past 30 minutes I end up getting deleted in fights by mages/assassins/anyone with point-and-click cc. Getting away from them feels hard because I have a short dash from Q and maybe 1-2 autos before getting pushed out of the fight. Often my DPS feels so low lategame that I can't put myself near anyone else with damage (other carries or mages) without getting destroyed. Has anyone else felt this with Kalista? Anyone have any tips for lategame Kalista in teamfights?

I think he ult is supposed to be her big lategame thing, but you have to have to be coordinated with your support to use it right.

Im okay with the AD carry that ignores Melees to be useless. Totally okay with it.

Disclaimer: I don't play Kali, and I've stopped playing support for them.

Kali's biggest strength seems to be in her mid-game. She does really well early game, but doesn't have the kill potential of dedicated early game champs (see Trist and Graves). Mid game is when the roaming comes more into play (see sentinel), and team fights start occurring. Her ult initiation with another initiator (see malphite) of bloody brutal. And CC isn't as rampant mid-game as it is late, making her easier to peel. Late game, she has to go against the hyper scaling of other ADC's and the assassin's itemization counters. And unfortunatly, she's so heavily dedicated to countering melee that she doesn't have the tools to deal with these other threats. Really, she seems to fall into the same hole as other Utility ADC's. The current meta just doesn't support them.

I know this doesn't really help, but it's my perspective at least.

PS: My lack of support has nothing to do with viability. I just can't loose anymore windows to bad/troll Kali's in Yolo queue.

Hey! I had the same problem before. But i think i might have found a way to solve it, buy mercurial scimitar. Itse a god like item on her. And kallista isnt supposed to be a DPS beast champion. As soon as the fight starts you Start stacking your Spears (buy runaabs btw) and as mater the fight goes More deadly you become. Qss active will keep you Alive with lifesteal__

I think that's okay because playing against her is an unsatisfying experience for most melee champs.

When playing with high attack speed, I find it too annoying to spam right click as much as I have to to make effective use of her passive.

Kalista is just overrated. She is a mid tier adc and only is super effective if you orb walk extremely well. if you build her normally like any AD she will do well because all you have to do in this meta is crit to kill someone.
