HOW TO FIX THIS GAME FROM DYING

Riot, listen up, if you want this game to stop dying, stop adding new stuff and trying to change other things and start fresh in season 6, during that time, the biggest complaint would be a rengar one shotting someone at most. Masteries were balanced back then and every single champion had a mastery that was perfect for them and their kit. Nowadays you have to make an entire new rune just to affect 1 champion, yes only 1 champion (kindred with hail of blades). This is honestly kind of sad, bruisers should not be played mid/adc, supports should not be played mid, LITERALLY HEIMER IS A VIABLE ADC...The meaning of roles have completely gone astray and i hope that this message receives enough upvotes for someone to see :). Normally I would adapt, but if a person who used to play 20 games a day can barely stand to play 3, theres an issue. Don't just take my word for it, big streamers are starting to get bored of this game too, tobias fate, gross gore, etc. Why would all these players just stop playing when season 8 began? Oh I know, because season 8 was a complete bust, ll stylish isnt even enjoying playing zed anymore. Even as a twisted fate main, (yes i know hes in an okay spot) why is it that i don't have to be afraid of a ZED in laning phase? Not just twisted fate but pretty much everyone, assassins dont get respected and are deemed as a "troll pick" in the mid according to the god of solo queue, apdo. Pretty much what im saying is that something has to be done, this isnt just players getting burnt out, this is riot not listening to their community, i'm not trying to sound like a jerk here, really, im not, but something has to be done, i want the feeling of playing 20 games a day without even getting a little bored. I know i'll probably get flamed for posting this, but i just had to speak my mind, players who played in season 4, 5, 6 will know what im talking about. This is not just a tilted rant, i'm just sad that this game is falling to garbage like fortnite. League is the best game out there and is slowly dying because of stupid things like this, please, fix this game riot, i beg of you. I want to be hooked like the old days. Much love <3 -BluCard

Oh yeah, the game is definitely dying, that is not up for debate... but WoW has been dying for 8 years... and we've all been dying since we were born... so ... you know.

Okay so the biggest complaint in the game is that Rengar is one-shotting people, but assassins are useless.

They need to stop changing things, but if they don't change it the game is going to die. Changes will happen that you don't like because there's anywhere from 50 to 100 million players. You can't please them all.

Hall of blades was meant for an assassin auto playstyle. If Kindred is the only champion that uses it, it needs tweaking, but it certainly wasn't only meant for you.

People get burnt out on games. The less you choose to adapt and do other things, the easier it is to get burnt out.

It doesn't matter whether you sound like a jerk because the forum is your place to voice your own opinion. What matters is you are objectively wrong. Especially when you say Riot should listen to your fanbase, and all Riot has been doing all season is making sweeping changes almost entirely based on things that people have asking for for years.

And lastly, Fortnite is the biggest game right now because it appeals to console gamers and casuals who are only looking to play squads with their friends. It's not the reason League is failing since the playerbases have little intersection.

By rengar one shotting people, i was talking about that being a complaint back in season 6, before you could expect a rengar one shot

"You can't please them all." Right now, this game is garbage, almost every single person on my friendslist is legit taking a break from ranked because of how stupid the meta is, are you telling me that irelia mid and adc is ok? don't sound stupid, they made the role of a marksman legit useless.

Hail of blades is useless along with lethal tempo, there are legit barely any champs that use it...garbage keystones

Its not even about adapting, i usually adjust fine to changes, its not even that im on a tilt spree, if i wanted i can climb past d5, its just im not feeling the same feeling as i did previous seasons, and so do many players. Why did tobias fate virtually quit league, he knows hes gonna lose viewers but he cant stand playing it. Gross gore said on a video that he doesnt play league because games are too hard to carry. LL stylish has had to endure 6 months of hell on zed starting with stopwatch, any1 that says zed is broken here, pls dont comment on my board post, im not even a zed main but i can vouch that hes in a super bad state.

If riot has been listening to their fanbase how come the fanbase is slowly decreasing over time? Exactly, nobody is enjoying these changes.

Tbh Zed didn't have much counterplay other than a stopwatch/zhonya's until recently. Pyke is the new counter. Zed cannot kill him.

Heals and Armor doesn't really work.... shields do.

A good Zed has about 46 Lethality, which negates a huge chunk of armor, and some even build item 3071 because his rapid fire hits = a lot of procs.

His ult's damage calculates of PRE MITIGATION damage, so if he has a lot of Lethality, Armor does next to nothing to his Ult's hit, even if you reduced his initial hits. And his initial hit combo scales clear up to 4900 damage premitigation, which means even if he is vs armor, a 2500-3k HP target is still a 1 combo death.

Heals don't reduce the damage of his Ult, and in fact give him more opportunities to stack damage to calculate into his ult, especially if he Ignites or Red buffs (which means even after he bails, he's doing more damage).

CC vs a GOOD zed is only reliable after he is already on cooldown..... which means he's probably already succeeded. Go watch some high eloers play him. He literally will blink almost all of the critical CC, because he has 2 Blink in his kit.

Exhaust has some moderate success if it doesn't expire before his ult procs.

Dodging is pretty hard when skill shots are used point blank and hit 3 times.... You really can only dodge the Shurikens when he is distance harassing with them, which usually only a mid experience or a chase experience.

Omfg what are you even smoking.

Old runes allowed between 7.4 - 9.8 Lethality. That was it. There was no 20-30 penetration from runes.... If you got Quintessence you could get about 15.4....

And then there's Sudden Impact.... which spikes your lethality which pretty much subs for the lethality lost.

(You're also not mentioning that that lethality came at the cost of AD runes or other utility runes like move speed or life steal, or scaling CDR)

And..... that's funny about item 3071 ..... given that almost EVERY META ZED BUILD USES IT AS A THIRD ITEM https://lolalytics.com/ranked/worldwide/platinum/plus/champion/Zed/

And there is no early game armor other than Base. By the time Zed is level 6, most people haven't even bought half an item.

So cry about armor that doesn't exist.

And yes. his kit has damage without ult potential. But it's his ult that does 60% of the killing work. Unlike his Shurikens, Ults don't get wasted, unless mitigated. I have literally seen someone healed/shield to 80% die from his ult.... because the pre heal damage was so high that the ult took all the HP away again.

I know the kit, the mechanics. I don't need them explained to me,

I'm with @bbQsauce with this one, azadethe, you are completely wrong. Zed is a terrible state right now and just gets outclassed by any other assassin (not like any assassins are good rn) and every other mid laner. I don't need to say much, just check out any of ll stylish's video, idk about you, but i would trust the zed main with 3 million on zed to know whether the champ is good or not

Because a 3 million point spammer has more relevance than 100 other 400-500k Masteries who are more versatile and play arguably better.
