Maestro error during gameplay

Okay so I was playing an ARAM match this morning and i started getting random lag issues, but they really weren't lag issue as I could still see what was going on it was more so like I was just frozen and unable to do anything. After it happened again a second time during the game all of a sudden i was kicked from the game and kept getting maestro errors. After turning off my firewall and trying everything else I could think of the only thing that worked was a full reinstall of LOL. Has this happened to anyone else here before? Is RIOT aware of this issue. Do we know what causes this?
