Zoom out camera during Vel'koz ultimate
Lots of changes have been made to either buff or adjust Vel'koz this season however, I believe there is still a relevant game play change that can be made to make playing Vel'koz feel a little bit more comfortable. Vel'koz's ultimate expands across the entire screen if centered on the glorious tentacled champion. In many cases, depending on the angle the beam is being fired, the tip of the ultimate is not visible (See link: If the enemy is where the mini map is, the player would lose vision of a considerable part of his ultimate). I personally play with my camera unlocked however, I still often run into this problem. As the ultimate is followed by the cursor if you try to adjust the screen with the cursor mid ultimate it often moves the beam off of your target.
In short: When Velkoz's ultimate is activated zoom the camera out to be able to see the end of the beam and more. This should be nowhere near the magnitude of Jhin's ultimate.
I would suggest: The camera (when centered on Vel'koz) should be able to see the entire beam + 500 units for an example of the range of vision. There are likely more clever way to achieve this vision I am sure (maybe by positioning Vel'koz on the edge/corner of the screen opposite of where the cursor is to maximize the default camera size? Idk).
Why should this be changed?:
- This is neither a buff nor a debuff to Vel'koz: it will allow players to better use one of their abilities.
- This would (hopefully) be a relatively easy change to improve Vel'koz play.
- The champion is like 50% eyeball 50% tentacle, not being able to see the entire extent of his ultimate is almost ironic xD.
