State of Ranked

Let's talk about the culture of the current ranked system, it is obvious to see how much you hate old accounts every single year these Soft resets come out. Newer accounts are able to boost immediately through rankings, a smurf account with 55-60% winrate can get to diamond easily while an older account with the same winrate goes nowhere because of the sheer amount of games on the account causing elo to stagnate to nearly nothing, My hidden elo doesn't go past silver, I've hit high gold to low plat every season 4 seasons in a row but my hidden elo remains high bronze, low silver, this is the issue, I play a norms game and im stuck in with b3-s4 players constantly, no matter what my ranked elo is, and we all know its all effected by the hidden elo that gets soft reset.

You want a fix? Hard reset, every single year, everyone starts with a fresh elo that rises and falls dynamically based on winrate. Right now your system is making people with old accounts furious, including me, because of the inability to raise elo. I get to high gold low plat every season, with winrates ranging 55-65% and I never can skip leagues, I've gotten one skip after 20 wins in a row I believe this season, for once. Season 4 I won 50 games in a row and got to gold 3? If I had a new account it'd be low-mid diamond easily, but since I have an old account I get screwed over every single year, I have a life, I have to play 100 games ~100 hours, of straight ranked play just to get back to where I was no matter how well I do. Im tempted every year to only use a smurf since it is so much easier to climb ranks with a new account. Fix your system, you are screwing over everyone with an older account, I sucked for the first 2 years I played, I only played drunk with friends, or stupid things with friends, I started playing to win later on but I AM STILL SUFFERING FOR IT---- Why? Help me Riot, I love playing this game, I put alot of time into my account over the last 4-5 years, I don't want to play strictly on a smurf that has limited champs, skins, runes just because my elo is screwed for my lifetime.

It's reasonable enough for me to keep hitting those ranges just to get the rewards, but it's not as fun, if I try hard I trounce people in this range
