Let's talk about Normal Draft

I would like to preface this by saying that I am also upset about the complete removal of Normal Draft. The vast majority of games I have played over the past year have been in the Normal Draft queue, and I will certainly miss it. But rather than giving the whole "OMG RITO WTF ARE U DOING SH!TL0RDS UR RUINING LEAGUE" side, I'd like to propose a solution. I propose that, even though it will probably take a large amount of work on Riot's part, the current role selection and champion select used for draft be shifted over to blind, just without the bans or tiered pick order. The main issue with Blind is that you never know what role you'll get, and there's the horrible scramble at the beginning that pretty much always results in at least one or two people being dissatisfied with their roles. Yes, not getting those bans for champs you really don't want to play against will be somewhat annoying, but I honestly think that the crux of this issue involves that old system just being really frustrating and primitive in general.

So, if this ever sees the eyes of a Rioter, I implore you: please at least take this idea into consideration. I think it would help the community not complain (which honestly, after all the good you've been doing recently they really shouldn't be) and it would be a much needed improvement to the old system.

I think they should actually play 10 games of blind pick on their stream before they remove it. Only way they'll know what a hellhole it can be. Sometimes it's fine but most of the time it's instalocks and people who intent feed if they don't get their desired lane.

I just don't understand what went through their heads. If the problem was the player population being spread too thin over Blind and Draft, why remove Draft?

It is clearly the far superior game structure/setup.

If they **insist **on deleting something, freakin' delete the cancerous Blind game mode...
