Ryze's Win Rate By Games Played

The graph lies flat for the majority, hovering under 50, then drops to 30, before spiking to 90?! What even is this? http://imgur.com/HDzafGf

It's a chart with insufficient data.

Sample size is the issue there.

Also, 2014-2015 ranked experience? Ryze has been reworked at least once since then, maybe even 2 or 3 times (I don't care to look up the dates on things). Even in the event that that was data with a good sample size (again, it's almost certainly not), it'd still be completely meaningless for interpreting modern ryze.

Ryze's playrate and average games per player stats are too low to pull of a conclusion with that chart.

Oh yea, well then explain why they were fine with Morde's shit win rate and called his data "sufficient" when he has just as low, if not a lower playrate...

I don't work at riot. You shouldn't ask me those questions.

Due to very small sample size. Probably 10 games played by 125+ playerbase, and 1 of them was a loss.

Probably Faker on his NA account.

It's over 150 games.

EDIT: I misread the stats (estimated 10000 total games by dividing the 4500 games by the 45% win rate with those summoners, but obviously the games were total games with those summoners, not percent of games with those summoners).

It's 5186 total games when you look at the trinket stats. With a 1.53% rate of 125+ games of experience, that's ~79 games.

I was just poking fun at the small sample size, but 79 games is still fairly little. I think that we should wait a few patches to observe whether it will change. 90% is pretty insane.

the problem is champion.gg is notorious for having bad sample data. This is something I just recently found out about myself.

yeah the sample size too small

but consider this scenario

a player has 90% winrate on ryze but is dogshit at every other champion and his ryze winrate is only the result of winning a few heavily skewed matchups every time

Trust me if a champion actually had a 90% win rate... think about thinks like season 1 xin known for the 1 v 5 plays and nowhere near 90%. If it dips for 50-125 and then leaps up for 125+, it is obously insufficient data. Unless you are saying that from games 50-125 a player forgets how to play ryze and then magically becomes Faker after game 125.
