Feel free to ignore me because this will just be a wall of text and I'm low elo but this is just some long held thoughts about the game

First, to Riot games, I respect what you are doing as a company, I like the new runes actually, love the LCS franchising, but have a couple of suggestions that would help the game.

  1. For now, instead of buffing the weaker champions damage, ONLY nerf the strong champs damage, the reason I am sayong this is because damage creep has become a very real issue in league and I think this is an easy, though fairly long term solution to the problem. The idea is that damage creep has happened because weaker champs get buffed damage to Match stronger champions, so then instead of lots of damage being a strong thing in the meta, its just a norm.
  2. STOP MAKING NEW CHAMPIONS, this may be an unpopular opinion, but I think we have enough champions, recently ornn and Zoe are signs that in order to make anything new we have to go insanely complicated and hard to balance. The more champs you have, the harder it gets to balance and th more bans you need.
  3. Change the guys making new champions over to people doing VGUs, there are so many out of date champions that I love that I want to get a VGU, Swain, Malphite needs at least visual, and others could really do well and go in a new direction, You'll still be making new things for the game, but it won't be any more pressure on the balance team to balance more and more. I think a lot of the problems that come with balance are the sheer number of champions. The balance team is trying to do an insane juggling feat with 140ish pins in the air trying to balance, thats unfair to them. No wonder they take so much shit.
  4. Just give mage items a full update, The mage items are eons behind the other item paths, could use a couple new ones. Add fighter items on that, seems like there are lots of options but very few actually work. 5 Nerf dps items, My big idea for that is lowering the AD on all the damage items slightly, But SPLITTING UP ZEAL INTO 2 ITEMS, perhaps this wouldn't work but have 1 for attack speed and a different 1 for crit chance, that way they can't just bundle stats all at once, they'd need to choose and it gets harder to acquire 100% crit. That's a lot of things I know, but they are just my thoughts on commonly said issues, you could also think about the turret buff.

To the playerbase,

I don't think the snowball is as bad as you think, the way most of your posts sound, it seems like you guys give up around 5 minutes, I personally see about a normal 45-50% winrate when we are behind at 5 minutes. FIrst tower gold is not really as OP as it seems, if you trade another tower back you are still relatively close and gold and in a fine position. New runes, in my opinion, allow for a team thats behind to have a win condition to come back. Use those damage runes, to blow up whoever is carrying, it requires cooperation for sure but this is a TEAM GAME, I saw more comebacks after preseason started then before. About how you make your posts, saying "I don't find the game fun anymore" while maybe true, is not helpful, It doesn't point to itself and say "hey Riot, Look, I have a good idea" That tag tells riot not to look, because it doesn't seem like a calm helpful post. It looks like a rant. I understand wanting to rant, but if you want things changed that isn't the way to do it, the way to do it is a post with calm constructive criticism and maybe even a suggestion of what you would do to fix that, not fire employees. THESE KINDS OF POSTS ARE WHY THE BOARDS EXIST, instead of making a personal attack that puts Riot on the defensive, make a suggestion, be FRIENDLY, these people have entertained over a million players for 7 YEARS, ON ONE GAME, that's really good. Showing respect to Riot makes your suggestion seem like its coming from a player who actually likes the game, and those people are the ones they are gonna balance around

However, this is not just a trash community post, I like this community, despite its flaws. I enjoy playing on the rift with y'all and discovering things together. I think every single one of the "I can't enjoy the game anymore" posts is sad, and it makes me personally sad to know this has happened. After almost every game, I want to see 8-9 of the other players again in my next one. This game is good and has brought a lot of people together, we might as well enjoy that.

The game IS to fucking snowbally, I was here for seasons 3-5. They where golden seasons where the game average time was 30-45 min and it was still a struggle on both sides not just a onesided walkfest. Season 5 IMO was the most balanced season. Seasons 6 on have been snowbally but now it is complete shit.

Even if you where way behind you could still turtle and had a chance at winning.

I pretty much stopped reading when you said mage items are "eons" behind everyone else. So much bullshit in this sentence. As long as mages deal true dmg and as long as fighters have only ONE viable build path mage items are the last who need even more items. All you need to do is nerf morello so it is not the jack of all trades item and you have a variety of build paths. Meanwhile fighter either go trinity/t.hydra/steraks or BC/t.hydra/steraks that's pretty much the most viable build path on any of them. All these items do is you hit a little bit harder and get more health. You hit a little bit harder and you get more health. Tell me about other classes needing new items and being "blabla behind other buildPATHS". Let's compare buildpaths: 900 gold for AP, flat mana and basically infinite mana sustain. 1250 gold for 15 AD, a bit of health and a MS boost. 900 gold for AP and CDR. 1100 gold for the same amount of CDR and a bit of AS. amp.tome-->upgrade. Stinger-->two dagger giving 12% AS each. Well sheen is sheen. Then compare phage to something like Serrated dirk. Compare jaurims fist to caulfield, serrated dirk or any other item. Do a fighter item rework, give us some actual choices and diversity and after that do whatever you want with every other class.

I really like your calm, logical post; however, I can pretty much guarantee they will not stop making new champs. While they have plenty right now which combine to fulfill almost anything you could want from a champ (that doesn't break the game - and arguably some that do), new champs is probably one of the bigger sources of income for Riot. And because it is free-to-play, they need to get money somehow. Skins, ward skins, emotes provide some. But they probably don't provide enough on their own. If they were going to do this, they probably would have already done so by now - with numerous others having posted on the boards for over a year that rebalancing current champs should take precedence over adding new ones.
