Please crate a NOCHAT game mode

With the new ping system I think we're at a point where the game can be played without any chat function enabled. Please create a game mode/setting that will make a player unable to see chat messages from either team and have an indicator visible to their own team so that they know only to communicate with pings to this teammate.

This game is frustrating and toxic at times and I would like to be able to play without any distractions from either team and muting all 9 other players at the onset of the game isn't a good solution because I would still like to be able to communicate with my team.

But if there is a NOCHAT game mode you can't communicate with your team. Which beats your argument.

Just mute the toxic players.

it's call /mute all and disabling all chat from the game... there now you are unable to see what anyone says in the entire game so you can play without any distractions

Muting all 9 other players leaves their pings in tact. It literally creates the situation you're looking for, where their only communication with you is via pings. If you don't see enough pings then that's a result of your teammates not wanting to use them, but that wouldn't change by restricting their ability to chat.
