You have a monkey dog?!

I mean, he's pretty strong, but he goes down really easily when you throw some CC at him. I main Nautilus and secure a kill on him virtually every time I land a hook, and his passive stars aren't hard to dodge or tank.

I've actually found him quite easy to counter. He does bad with melees like irelia. I thought long ranged champs would struggle more. Adcs do maybe. But many of the mages ive used have the cc to keep his passive away.

Best mid laners to play against the A Sol (say it fast, you'll get the joke):

Yasuo, Ekko, Katarina, Talon, Zed. Anyone with CC like Ahri, Zyra and Morgana is a tier down. Azir could be great since he can send his soldiers in to screw with him without going in himself.

Junglers that ruin his A Sol (working on the joke again):

Lee Sin, Nautilus, Nidalee and anyone who jumps into his inner orbit. Graves can be used to great effect with his well timed dash. Stay on him and don't let his ult keep you pushed back to wreck him.

Other champs that work well are Leona for CC and direct engage, Thresh can get in on him easily and lantern in a melee, Fiora can get in on him with decent timing, Nocturne has good engage with his ult and Ezreal can actually arcane shift into his inner orbit to stay close kinda like graves. I've seen a jax ruin his day too.

There are lots of champs that he won't be happy with, but you need to actually think about it. I had a friend try vlad to pool when his passive was dangerous, which was inventive, but ultimately failed because his passive is constant so you need a counter that constantly keeps you on him rather than something that's just barely gonna work and then goes on cooldown.
