So idk if you watch either twitch rivals or competitive but in both scenarios you can literally see that aftershock is the meta in midlane in twitch rivals when u see a skill gap in top lane the guy can kill or abuse the oponent but in midlane you see worse players not getting punished just because they can pick galio/lissandra aftershock and thats it it doesnt matter if challenger mid player faces a fortnite player he cant just win and thats so sad.

Is this rhetorical?

.. Immobilizing crowd control is often a natural way to open up a trade pattern because it becomes significantly easier to ensure that other abilities / basic attacks hit the enemy.

The bonus resistances and small burst damage from Aftershock increase the probability of winning a short trade, especially against champions that prefer to trade in quick bursts, as most mages and assassins do, .. which a lot of mid laners and junglers are.

It’s not that strong. There I said it. It’s good but it more so compliments those type of champions all in style. If you’re gonna dive all in you need tank stats.

It's not only Aftershock. Galio was overbuffed and everyone knows this. That's why he will get some nerfs tomorrow. Lissandra is perfectly balanced in her niche. She has clear weaknesses. Pick a mage with more range and watch her struggle. If you pick an assassin, she counters you. But you can still play around the short duration of Aftershock or roam.
