Why I'll be taking a break from League of Legends (mid elo player RIOT PLEASE LOOK)

Please dont just op.gg me and come to a conclusion... actually read what I say first lol

int: intentional feed, not when somebody does bad in lane/jg,

feeder: somebody who intentionally gives enemy team kills to troll, get game over with quickly, not somebody who does bad in lane/jg

understand that I understand these things before reading this

Background: First of all, I am NOT a toxic player. I've always been THAT guy, always encouraged my team, never said, "the game is over bot lane fed" or anything like that (unless of course there's a feeder, hint to problem btw), always looked at MY mistakes at every loss, never blamed the team, always tried to improve, I never believed in "oh I'm stuck here because my team always feeds and their team is always good, I always looked at the end of the game and said to myself, "What could I have done better?" I understood even since season 5, that there were games that you just couldn't win, and if you were really that good, you would have a better chance of winning those "unwinnable games"

And that's the main reason I was always called the "winning variable" by everybody I played with, I was the definition of a hard carry to all my friends, and that eventually led to my climb all the way to plat in season 7 from starting at bronze 5 in season 6.

again I NEVER blamed my team and I realized that if you deserved to be in a higher rank, then you would have to be the winning variable in your ranked games.

Now this season everything has been really bad. I've been in big loss streaks before, but it was all good, I knew that other high elo players were in high elo for a reason, so I would look at my games and try to fix the problems I seem to be having, which contributed to much of my success in the past, but this season, I started to notice that I seemed to always have a feeding person on my team and the rest of the team would just give up, fine, I'll just report the feeder and move on, if I really deserved to be in a certain rank, I should just do well next game right? That worked out for all the years I've played league, but that never worked out for me this season however, It felt like queuing into a ranked game was a coinflip, if nobody trolled/inted on my team then it would be a regular lol game, but it felt like 80% (no lie) of the time, someone would intentionally feed and I would win my lane, and there's nothing I could do to stop it. I know that seems like the typical, "oh he's bad he's blaming his team again" but really it actually feels like this happens 8/10 games, and this is starting to annoy me.

Now I understand this streak of bad luck will eventually go away if I keep playing, like it has in the past, but it feels like I'm basically forced to keep playing countless hours of this game before I get a good streak. I understand that I could hit the ranks I wanted to reach if I just played more and more and forget about these games, but then I would have to use up WAAAY to many hours of my life to achieve such a thing when this problem could've been easily fixed

PROBLEM:

The problem is that people would intentionally feed in a surprisingly, alarmingly majority of all the games I queue into and I would have to just immediately suffer from it... and nothing would happen to them.

Why after 3 years of me playing this game, I'm still having the problem I've had forever... which was a bad luck of feeders in my team and there's nothing I could do about it. Every intentional feeder I get, I report, (remember refer to my definition of feeder/inter on top of forum so you don't think I'm one of THOSE people), but it seems like its doing nothing for me. Why is it still a game of luck everytime I queue into ranked, why aren't people getting punished.

I just had a game with a yasuo who basically said he's been inting and riot will do nothing to him, so he'll just keep doing it: https://imgur.com/a/VtGaEgT https://imgur.com/a/v6zGFEg

I then immediately after that game, thought maybe I'm the reason we are losing (lol), If I improve, maybe I won't play with feeders anymore, but then it hit me I've been saying that forever, and I've had this problem forever, and people have been having this problem forever, the only fix to this is to waste your life playing this game to rank up, which will eventually happen, but you have to contribute SOO MUCH HOURS and waste your life.

and A LOT of high elo players have been having the SAME problem I'm having! Gross Gore said he can't carry all the time, has proven himself as a good player, quits the game Tyler1 had this problem, exceptional high-elo player held back by feeders Boxerpete, informative high elo player, held back by feeders, no uploads since vid I posted (many vids on his channel btw of him havign to 1v9) DUNKEY (old vid but I had to bring this up, because same problem I'm having same topic same everything) and there's definitely much much more if you look it up, but this is just to name a few.

It's been years Riot, and we still don't have a strict policy of no feeders.

Riot, PLEASE, implement a strict on troll/feed policy and MAKE SURE IT WORKS, that's the only way to fix the steady decline of league of legends players that's happening right now.

**TL;DR ** **Intentional feeding should be stopped immediately, riot must have a strict policy of immediate ban on intentional feeders. Completely unfair for proven good players to take an L, nothing they could do about it, and have to play countless hours just to get a rank they want/deserve. **

Rito has never bother trying to punish intentional feeders on a daily bases. They tried to cut corners ever since the beginning of league releasing, if you do get a player who feed for no reason, Rito simply replies with "He's having a bad game, just endorse it". I deeply agree with the post this person is saying, we don't deserve games like this. Many players abused the 0 LP strategy, as you've just Promoted or recently lost enough LP to get 0, The next 1-3 games you play will not lose any LP. They use that as a reason to do bad and give up easily. Rito doesn't pay the respect to players who have to get through the day playing their Unbalanced game, they've never been trying to improve the game. Therefor, one champion/item is way too strong, they break 10 to fix 1, making the game less and less balanced. Rito has been losing players daily to Battle royal games, the only players who stayed are the loyal ones. They refused to ban intentional feeders. If they do punish these players, they'll slowly lose more players which means the shutdown of League of legends.

From what I have gathered today scrolling through these threads. Chat is simply easier to punish even thought it is much less detrimental to the state of the game. I think rito has tried to establish anti-feeding tactics, but they have indeed failed.

Edit: On a side note I hope you change your mind and come back to the game. We really do need ya.

I agree with Desireˉ . Riot tried to fix the system by giving us more options, doing that means breaking other stuff in the process. Riot wont punish any players who have bad games 1-2 days, But they'll punish you if you're constantly reported like Tyler1 has, he's been reported ever single game as he was running down mid 6/10 games he played before he was reformed. Playing rank game is honestly like a coinflip, you just pray that smurfs are on ur team and everyone is confident on playing the champion they know how to play. I've noticed that in low elo especially Silver-gold, Players play champions they have no clue how to play just because it's "Meta". End up doing bad, blames the team... Riot isn't really gonna do anything to stop these players, your best bet is to come back to the game, Duo with a friend in rank, it's more fun that way.summoner 4
