message to all the sions out there that farm and stay top for the whole early game

as a sion main, i can assure that sion has great potential in the early game, huge burst damage if you max Q and time it correctly, extremely obnoxious poke when you max E, max W and now you're unkillable for the first 10 minutes. Don't play passive with sion please, use the ult to roam to oher lanes and snowball the map, even if you get bullied in lane, don't sit under tower ! Wait until the enemy toplaner backs without tp and ult down a lane and proceed to wreck them !

Please, im sick of seeing sions in my games that farm under turret for 20 minutes and think they're nasus and saying that lategame they will still matter, sure farm is important but its better to have a fed ad carry than to have 50 more farm.

oh and remember, don't sion if drunk

Mid game is extremely important to Sion and any Sion that doesn't capitalize on it is hurting his team.

His early game however can be risky. I'll admit that my playstyle is to play it safe in lane with Sion because CS matters more to me than killing my opponent. You're correct that Sion does hurt early game, but he's also more squishy than one would like, so straight duels are dangerous. Maxing Q in lane is only good if your opponent can't dodge the damn thing, but even then I'd probably use it for waveclear (I usually max E in lane so I can harass from a distance. I play safe and punish mistakes).

Don't farm like Nasus. Farm smart.
