So i was playing a game as top and was against a and was like ok this cant be to bad but heres the broblem when ever we would teamfight i got one shot 3 times in a row going full tank i had a because would box me then i legit got 4 autod by a who wasnt fed and didnt have any armor pen and went full crit i dont thijnk that a voli that has 6k hp (with active should get 4 shot by a vayne) WTF riot really top lane sucks now because unless i gwt really far ahead then tanks are useless because we dont have enough item slotsto keep up with the dmg that a vayne puts out

Volibear just isn't a good champion full stop.

Not to mention you shot yourself in the foot by building a Gargoyle's against Vayne. Her true damage is dependant on your max HP and if you double your max HP with Gargoyle's, you'd literally be doubling her potential damage output. And late game, being a tank near a Vayne is like walking on hot coal. You don't wanna do it.

But still a full tank voli gets 4 auto by vayne i thought adcs were suposed to have sustain dmg and not auto q auto auto a and u die i mean if she had armor pen i could maybe see it but i dont think adcs should 4 auto a tank i mean what does think mean for other teamates like the carries that get legit 1 autod because vayne had ie and statis

It's VAYNE.

Also, Voli is not a tank. He has no defense steroids (armor or mr) and no, his passive doesn't count as one. Voli is a fighter that does damage and gets jited, not an actual tank.

well ok voli is close enough to a tank and u kinda have to play someone who does some dmg if you ever want to get outa elo hell

Not vs Vayne you don't. Any of their champs are basically a red flag for no Voli. Ivern Veigar Vayne are the worst of them, but laning vs Darius just hurts.

I'm not going to assume the Lux was competent, but if she was that's bad news for Voli too.

i mean the darius was like no problem i played safe and got some ganks and it wasfine the vayne would destroy us though and i tried to flash flip but i couldnt get near her

You won't get near her either. She's a pain in the butt. If you love Voli just ban her and live happy. She has to be completely boosted for you to get on her as Voli. You'd need to prestack your W, have her roll nearby then flash flip bite. If you're extremely lucky she'll die.

vayne does % true damage based on targets HP ... and she has dps

tanks do not survive dps... they get kitted to death via dps

tanks survive BURST

volibear is listed as a fighter not a tank

Tanks are fine. Just...not against that comp. LOL. It's why I have Vayne permabanned.

Tanks have been strong for a while, it's refreshing. A vanguard tank like sion or malph will likely be more effective.

Grab a juggernaut or skirmisher, they're having a better time

right now my perma ban is panth because i can lane agaisnthim but the problem is when he ults and my team feed him then he comes top and i have 2 times the cs as him and he comes back to lane with a item 3142 and q q q then kills me so
