The Fiora buffs on the PBE were a kneejerk reaction, and are unneccessary

I've been playing Fiora almost exclusively since she was reworked, and I'll admit, AT FIRST, I would have agreed with these buffs. I felt she had low damage, and didn't really do much of anything. At one point I swore to my friend she was useless and Riot ruined another one of the champs I liked. I almost gave up on playing her. However, I didn't, and I'm glad that I didn't. After around the 7th or 8th game, something clicked and I finally figured out how to play her and her role in teamfights, etc.

I know this is anecdotal, but the turning point for me was in a game where I managed to lose lane to a Nasus with no help from his jungle(yes, I was that bad) but we got to late game and I could EASILY 1v1 him which caused us to win every teamfight because of Fiora's insane ability to kill tanks, and pretty much everything else. The very next game I was 1v1ing a full build devourer yi late game =/.

Anyways, my point is, personally I think that Fiora's actually really over tuned at the moment and she just had low win rates on her first few days because people were basically playing with a new champ. I just checked her win rates and she's actually back over 50% for both ranked and normals which seems to support my thoughts. So, maybe cancel those Fiora buffs?

Edit: Seems that I'm an idiot and the buffs were patched in already. Guess that's why she suddenly didn't suck anymore!

Umm.. those buffs have been hotfixed into the game (on Aug 10th) along with the Yasuo and Frost Queen fixes, they are not just on the PBE. The tooltips have not been changed yet though as that requires a patch to be downloaded client side (the Fiora buffs are server side).

That might play a role as to why things "clicked" with her.

Is she overpowered? If so, then nerf her. If not, then don't nerf her. Simple.

Personally I think that yes, she is overpowered, but there's already buffs on the PBE that were a kneejerk reaction to her low winrates when her kit rework was released. I guess I'm more worried on how bad they're going to nerf her after these buffs go to live and she becomes insane. As you know, Riot never just reverts buffs, they nerf entirely different aspects of their kits.

She needed something to feel better and more fluid. The cool down reductions helped a lot. Her damage is fine all around. I think she needs a change to her ult to make it more user friendlythough

if they want to buff her, they should just make her resourceless imo. it sounds like a big step, but actually isnt.

in lane mana doesnt seem to be an issue at all anyways. and thats mostly when resourceless champions have the largest advantage. but ive never run out of mana with the new fiora in lane. but in extended teamfights she seems to run out quite fast. there is no proper manaitemization for melee adc. the only item i could think of is essence reaver.

and just like yasuo, fiora relies on her spells a lot to be able to carry. honestly, i think the only reason they didnt make her resourceless is because of a lot of uneducated bitching about this type of champion going on, or because the old fiora had mana.

but the old fiora carried more with her auto attacks and didnt need to spam abilities like the new one to be effective. they should take that into consideration, if they want her to be able to carry through a fight instead of just bursting one target down.
