Illaoi's E and allies

Having played in a few games featuring Illaoi, I think overall the kit is well-made, with one major exception - the handling of being a Vessel after a successful E.

My problem isn't with the duration, nor with the manner in which it is countered. Simply put, I think that landing at least one attack on a tentacle that is killed afterwards by an ally should still be counted towards the 3 kills needed. Given the threat level that extra tentacles can put out, it is often reasonable for teammates to want to destroy them. However, when that occurs, if the teammate lands an attack after the Vessel, then the Vessel is not credited towards breaking their curse. I feel that an ability should not encourage a player to actively forsake their teammates, and the current iteration does just that.

Ideally, as long as you are actively attempting to kill the tentacles as they spawn, you shouldn't feel as though you are being hindered by having a teammate nearby. Please, Riot, make it so that I don't have to choose to leave my teammate to their fate; at least, if I want to try and help, the best course of action shouldn't be to ignore the giant, murderous tentacle god trying to kill them.

I'm gonna have to agree with this. Especially late game where it's possible for her to make at least 2 people a vessel easily (or early game in bot lane) giving "assists" upon killing tentacles is perfectly reasonable. On top of this, since you can teleport to tentacles, they should have some indicator on the minimap as well, but that's a separate issue.
