New item for Bruiser/Tank to replace Atmas

So Atma's is going away and due to talking in another thread I thought of this item(not a direct replacement):

+15-20 Damage +150-200 HP +20-25 Armor Aura: Reduce enemy champions Critical Chance by 10-15% within 600 radius

Numbers are obviously up for tweaking, but basically it's there to give a little offense, a little defense and a little more defense in the form of possible slowing down the enemy ADC from going off on your team(for a little bit longer) and as a counter to the IE rushing everyone does now.

No major numbers/boosts to any specific stat, just an overall increase in things that a melee Bruiser/Tank would be interested in.

Thoughts? OP? Garbage? Don't care?

Edit: New concept based on feedback:

Base item(built from an Armor item) +25 Armor Aura: Reduces enemy champions Critical Chance by 10% in a 600 radius

Upgradable into one of two paths:

HP Ruby: +200 HP +30 Armor Aura: Same as base Secondary: For each Champion Kill or Assist permanently gain 10HP and 5 Armor.

-or-

Long Sword: +25 Damage +25 Armor Aura: Same as base Secondary: For each Champion Kill or Assist gain 5 AD and 5 Armor permanently.

Might be more feasible if it reduced damage taken from critical strikes instead. Why would atmas be going away?

Interesting concept, certainly.

Fighters still need a stat multiplying item, though. Atma's used to be it for them. Rangers have got IE and Mages get Deathcap, but Fighters are left out in the cold in that regard. Can't go with an item that multiplies AD since it would be too broken on Rangers, so an HP to AD conversion is still the best bet.

Added a different design path to give a little more option depending on what you need to do (damage or tank).

idk i guess i just prefer to get my stats in specific items, not spread out. If I want damage, I will build from the damage tree. If i want defense, I will build from the defense tree. If I feel like a mix is going to work out better, I will start both build paths. I don't see a need for an item that does both, when building Hydra and Randuins can accomplish it the same if not better. 50% damage 50% Defense items don't make sense to me. The only thing that might make sense is if you have an item that gives MORE defense than offense or vice versa (like item 3071 or item 3078. Or something that gives you equivalent of 75% offense 75% defense like item 3116 (which is a real win-win). By that I mean, you get the equivalent of 83% AP from a full AP item (120AP) and practically the same amount of HP from a HP item, if not more. But the reason I never bought atmas is that its base stats are pretty worthless and I needed to buy other items to make it good anways so i might as well just invest in those items first. and by the time Atmas would be worth it, the game is over or the straight AD gained from the passive isn't worth on a late game tank. I don't get a power spike. And I don't think you would get much of a power spike from your item either.

Why do you feel like the game needs this kind of item? Why not just build the peices to a full AD item and to a full Defense item instead?

Looks like an armor based item 3105. Idk why they don't have something like this in the game, maybe they are afraid that everybody and their mother would build it to mitigate adc's. Of course your idea isn't that broken, however, I don't know if the aura is strong enough.

5 armor for the upgrades seems like a bit much, but good idea.

Imo, don't expect an item that grants a lot of AD and armor. A little could work, though the secondary passive you placed on them would have a hard cap to prevent bruiser snowballing. (Panth/Wukong op as %^&*.)

A good idea, instead of cutting down crit chance, have it shave off 10% crit damage. item 1031 + item 1036 45 Armor and 20 AD plus passive.

That might be a bit too strong. How about a unique passive: Reduces damage taken from critical strikes by 20%

Atma's Impaler was a reference to Ultima from the Final Fantasy series, a weapon that grew in power the more health the wielder had. I know riot is getting rid of obscure references, but I'd thought I'd let you guys know.

This is a great idea! I love it! +1

Garbage, imho. The damage part is really insignifacant(15-20 AD with no system to amplify the damage? It doesn't hurt even squishies), the health is so low that offer you no help whatsoever against other kinds of damage that isn't AA that crits(either AD damage that doesn't crit, damage from spells that doesn't crit, magic damage or true damage), and the same is for armor The passive effect could be situationally good if the enemies have multiple champs that build crits, but if your goal is to just counter ADC power, Thornmail just do a better work for you. You just get to the ADC with a champ with Thornmail, so they have 2 choices: shoot to you and damage yourself, or ignore you and being chunked alive from you that give unresponded damage to it

Even the Edit suggestions are kinda meh: Both tiems are items for champs that snowball hard, and they both won't help for their goals. Tanks aren't going to have usually a very goodstat line at the end and so they would end up having pretty low HP that won't help them against different kind of damage and a lot of armor that could still be shred through LW by ADCs. Long Swordwould just give too much damage and tankiness to assassins bruiser that get an early lead and start to snowball, so better avoid it
