Let me disable sunfire cape passive(aura)

Hauvar··3 votes·539 views

-It's impossible to stay near an enemy tower without pulling aggro. -Warding baron and i get aggro, taking loads of damage. -i want to freeze the lane

would it be possible for me to enable and disable the passive(aura) on my own accord? i know this has prolly been asked 1000 times before. but were still waiting ....

Yea... it's my biggest pet peeve whenever I play Poppy. No you can not disable the aura, you can sell it to disable it and that's it.

I think if you're out of combat it is disabled. I'm not sure if attacking wards puts you in combat for Sunfire purposes though.

That only applies to item 1401. item 3751 and item 3068 both remain permanently active.

Best solution for this problem, and I keep this in mind a lot too because I love this particular item.

Don't buy it if you don't want to push the lane.

It's supposed to draw aggro. When your team decides to towerdive, who does the team want to tank the tower? The tank. If the adc just started taking shots, that would be a disaster. Sunfire Cape's constant damage helps the tank keep tower aggro so that the dive can proceed without issue

If you don't want to risk tower/epic monster aggro, and don't want to fast push all the time, don't buy it. Sunfire has been this way for at least eight years, people have mostly learned to play around it.
