East coast represent.

(Note: Not complaining. Should have played a more forgiving game during a snowstorm. My fault; penalty accepted.)

I really wish Riot would divvy up leavers into four categories:

  1. AFKers: punish them
  2. Rage Quitters: punish
  3. Unstables: make suggestions about what the players could do to improve internet stability. These players shouldn't be punished unless it becomes a long-term issue since ultimately they are ruining games, though it's not their fault.
  4. Crashers: Riot should not punish unless crashing is chronic and the player has not attempted disabling 3rd party software that might be interfering with league.

Where are you, Newfoundland? It is nowhere near snow here.

Well kudos for at least admitting that it was YOUR mistake for playing LoL during periods of potential power loss... /s

Seriously though, Riot should find some way to note whether people leave of their own accord or not, to make sure to not punish people that have power outages during a game. Best of luck with your low priority though.
