Concerning Yasuo

Alright guys. I know this game is supposed to be fun. But my question is how is that supposed to happen when you have 1 champion out of over 130 picked or banned in 99.5% of matches. How is that supposed to happen when that champion is incredibly difficult to interact with, and incredibly unfun to play against. The problem with Yasuo is he has no clear weakness. His laning faze is VERY strong, he's an incredibly good bully, and he only needs to survive and get his two-item power spike to instantly become the most dangerous champion in the game. Another problem here is the fact that there is no good time to engage on Yasuo. His abilities have basically no cool downs and his shield comes up WAY too quickly. His ultimate is a long-range blink, a one second stun, a massive AOE nuke, and an extremely powerful armor shred buff. Knowing all this, why the hell is it on such a ridiculously short cooldown? I'm trying not to descend into mindless ranting, I truly hope you will listen to your community about this. Ever since he was first released Yasuo has always been my least favorite champion to face. I never feel like there is anything for me to do against him. I have more than once considered giving up league forever just because of this one part of the game. Some suggestions about how to fix Yasuo: Passive 1: 25% damage reduction on crits from 10% Yasuo gets crit chance far more easily than Jhin, but sufferes a much less severe crit reduction. Also, consider the math. Because Yasuo gets crit twice as fast, his auto attacks will effectivly have 400% DPS. Considering the 10% reduction, we are now at 360% DPS. That's not even factoring his Q being another auto attack, or the bonus from infinity edge. Passive 2: Removed. His shield makes no sense in his high-risk high-reward play style. It was simply added to make Yasuo viable against pokers. Instead all it did was make him impossible to burst. At the very least make it so the shield cannot recharge in combat. This will give more windows to effectively engage Yasuo. Q: After Yasuo launches a tornado, this ability goes on a substantial cooldown. Like I said before, there are no good times to engage on Yasuo. His abilities are always up and ready to go. If this mechanic was added, there would be more opportunities to work around, and Yasuo players would have to think carefully about when they want to charge up their tornado. W: Only blocks projectiles from one direction, and cannot block auto attacks. It doesnt make sens for the one-way wall of wind to become a zone where all projectiles go to die. Also, the fact that this champion can totally negate the damage of an ADC in a teamfight with a basic ability is simply asinine. E: If Yasuo waits a long enough time between dashes this ability goes on a cooldown. You will notice this is a common theme in my issues with Yasuo. He can use his tools all he wants with no thought to being ready for a fight. If this was enacted, it would enable players to bait out the dashes before inviting their jungler to come for a gank, thus necessitating Yasuo players to think carefully about when to use this extremely powerful ability. R: Massively increased cooldown. This is one of the most powerful ultimates in the game for the Slayer class. It simply does too much to be on such a low cooldown, especially late game. Additionally, no longer grants Yasuo maximum shield. This extra buff on top of everything else this ability does is simply too much power in a single ability.

I truly hope you consider this. In bronze elo all the way up to diamond it is incredibly difficult to deal with Yasuo. His weaknesses are extremely specific and situational, and can really only be exploited by five-man teams all on coms together. I understand that this is the reason we he is not played at the professional level, but please listen to you community and hit him as hard as you can in solo que. The vast majority of your revenue and player base comes from here, and your game is being ruined for us by this champion.

I quit reading when you compared jhin a RANGED champion getting much more penalty than a MELEE champion, there's a reason that he only stomps in low elo because people like you that have absolutely no idea what the hell a champion is even supposed to do; which you also conveniently left out the phage proc that jhin get's to further cement the RANGED aspect, I didn't read the rest that alone was enough to show me You're a complete idiot; even worse than the balance team, let that sink in and please don't try to post a serious balance discussion again please.

Yasuo is not a problem at all. Half the people that play him are terrible. He isnt as good as he used to be. These changes you suggest would just make him complete garbage. Maybe you should just learn how to beat him. He isnt that strong.

His clear weakness is cc. That's like saying zed has no clear weakness. He's unfun to play against if you don't know what you are doing. You people need to stop complaining about yasuo and learn how to play against him. They literally just nerfed him so that his early game is weaker and it was a significant change to his early game mobility and damage. There's tons of champs that I hate playing against but I don't go onto forums because they are unfun to play against. I accept that they have counters and actually put some effort into learning the matchup. You don't need a 5 man to counter yasuo, you need to cc him and walk around his windwall and kill him. Not that hard to deal with this champ.
