everytime i ask "how do you counter akali", the only response i get is "build mr" or the occasional "lee sin", as if that is somehow unique to her. i dont think building a poop ton of mr should be the sole counter to a champ. can we please think about nerfing her? and i dont know if "getting good" is an appropriate response. just an idea, im open to advice or counter-arguements, but pls no troll or hate, im very tender.

"Good" Akali's get crushed top lane by anybody and everybody. Freelo Fencer, Freelo Birdgirl, Popples, Darius, Malphite, shit I bet Nunu could push Akali out of lane. "Good" Akali's then are completely worthless and can't assassinate anybody at that point.

okay, then why does akali have a positive win rate in the top lane?
She does not get crushed top lane. There are more melees top lane than the mid lane. In mid lane you get luxes and azirs and zeds, top lane you get fioras, gnars and dariuses. I'll gladly take on a Fiora over a Lux anyday.

Sure, you won't win lane(usually) against Ren or Jax, but you just farm and rush Sunfire Cape, and look for possible tp plays.
