ARAMs Still Fun?

When ARAMs first came out it was a good way to have a break from stressing out over ranked or even normals, at this point though it's no longer fun. It's become as stressful due to the comps becoming wildly unbalanced. I understand the random aspect of it, but with a slew of ARAMs only accounts it's less random and more just the same 7-8 champs that are insanely strong in ARAMs. I was okay with even this for a while, but recently more people are also highly unwilling to surrender in ARAMs. I understand people thinking they can win, but at the cost of 20+ mins in a "nothing" game mode it's just a tax. When there is no realistic way of winning a game people seem to default to "you should just play better" or "hey it's just for fun anways so stop being a baby" etc, etc. I get it, I'm a salt boy but something about a 15 min game taking 30 mins is a little off to me, especially since the payoff isn't worth it. I'm not getting better at the game, I'm not improving at any skill in particular. Then finally there are the people who troll super hard in the mode, the AFKers, the thought that you are a "god" because you curb stomped a shitty comp, it's pretty much just silvers and golds circle jerking and BM, I'm no exception (I'm one of these idiots). Anyways long rant over tl;dr I uninstalled League cuz I got called a bad word and responded in kind and I don't like that about myself, have a good one.

I enjoy it a lot. And the rune system seriously feels like it was designed for aram xD

I never FF either. I only play arams. You do get better at teamfighting and mechanics. You don't get better at macro (at least not SR macro, dying at the correct time with the correct gold or suiciding to let the team get tower or back is the aram macro but it's irrelevant for SR) and you don't get better at CSing.

I love the mode, have been loving it since 2013 when I created this account. 7.2k arams later and I still love the mode. Playing a different champ every game and getting mastery 5 on every single champ has been my goal :)

I can see your point about the smaller skills getting better but even then it doesn't teach you proper builds or how to be objective conscious. Also the support role isn't really a thing in ARAMs, people still build damage. I played almost exclusive ARAMs for a long time so I get the appeal but not anymore for me.

Appreciate the insight though. Maybe if more players like you were on my teams it would've been less lame. Keep at it though you'll get them masteries eventually.

I used to have fun with it, but I got kinda tired of seeing the same champs time and time again.
