Darius Ult Needs to be FIXED

There is absolutely NO reason that if Darius ults you, even if you flash, get lanterned, or shroud out of vision that he still should be able to hit you. its a broken mechanic that needs to be fixed. thank you

and auto attacks are different how if they are already initiated?

It's an animation thing. As he's coming down, right before his ult animation ends, an animation begins and finishes with you taking damage. If you flash during that contact period you still take the damage, similar to flashing away from a Vi ult but im a much shorter time frame.

It used to be like that, where flashing and leaps broke spells being cast depending on the timing, it was removed.

Play against darius and rengar same ult problem as you said except rengar delets you in 1 sec with his entire kit and darius you may stay alive but it is a doom call anyway*[darius-angry]*
