So the other day i was playing kalista on soloq and my supp dc'd or ragequiited i"m not sure , anyway i tried to re-buy that black spear and put it on my jungler but it didnt work, we could hear the sound of that thing appliying on the jungler but it wont really happen :/ idk if it's a bug or ?
LEEROY KLEDKINS12 votesThis is why i never play Kalista nor like having her on my team even if im supporting her she strives on dealing bonus damage if her oathsworn partner attacks the same target which is a very pointless for SoloQ players where there is poor communication and poor coordination.
Last time i played her was march of 2016 my support rage quit on me when i told them I'm not even a good adc and i wanted to just farm. Tried to get the black spear back and give it to my jungler but nope you can't do that.
Ariel the Cruel6 votesI played with one the other day. Every time I try to make a play during a fight (Engage, peel, what have you), she'd pull on the leash and I'd be left watching my team get eviscerated during the 0.5 second pseudo-stasis she trapped me in.

Supreme Senpai692 votesLol I got flamed once because I was Ashe support (it works pretty well with Kalista actually definitely try it with Bond of Stone and Black Cleaver/Ardent Censer) and she got caught out. The rest of the team was behind her and engaged and I was just about to ult their ADC when suddenly I find myself floating. I had to ult away and we ended up losing the fight with two people dying. But had I taken the ult three people would have died, because I'd be instantly melted!
I got flamed the rest of the game lmao the Kalista was even my premade

Used to be my friend if i just so much as did a ks even when the enemy had more hp and damage than him and he had 2 hp he would flame me and i mean... flame to the point he got banned later after this match i had with him.
He also had a go with my best friend and my brother who also ks'd him and the other guy was feeding.
Thank god that jerk got perma banned in season 5 then i saw him on by pure bad luck on SMITE forums being the same toxic scrub.

draecina1 votesI hate that ult so much. Every time someone locks kalista I ask why. That ult screws me over. It locks my screen and disorients me. Kalista is really more of a champion to play with someone you duo with. And I've tried asking people not to play kalista in the lobby. Guess what happens, I get flamed, or they forget whoever their pick intent was and lock in kalista to spite me.

I've found the odds if playing with a Kalista go down if I don't say anything. And when she gets picked, I just bury the rage. I'm confident the blood pressure spike and red hues that invade my vision are entirely unrelated.

Elikain5 votesKalista has a timer where she can rebind any other ally, unlimited times. I believe it's 90 seconds or more. Don't know for sure how long you have because i don't play Kalista. The moment it expires, you're stuck with whoever you bound last.
So you can't just change Oathsworn whenever you feel like it. Part of Kalista's gameplay is to be bound to someone for the remainder of the game. Or you could simply tie yourself to a support and then after that mid Talon gets fed, you just change to chuck him in every fight, having able to do a makeshift Malphite + Ori combo. If you wish to do so you can, but you have to do this earlier. Not when the circumstances are right for your team.

SanKakU1 votesI know it would mean a lot of animation work, but what if the support gets to stab Kalista with the spear instead of the other way around? Sometimes I see players type things like 'you killed me' when all I did was make them Oathsworn. The act of piercing her would show that you are dedicated to her, would maybe make players quit on her less. Would be weird because you'd have to give a spear to each of their allies and they'd have to choose to use it or not. Use it or lose it.

Hige1 voteshonestly, Kalista's pact is one of the most useless features in league ._. yes it does enables her ult but the whole animation is the playground of troll kids, I've seen a few wait until they are in lane to make the pact and kill their partner in the process lol
There is also no reason for it to be permanent considering that Taric has the same mechanic but a lot more flexible, of course, displacing someone is a bigger issue than shielding them but perhaps they could implement a system that consumes the black spear after cast and allows you to make a different pact on the spot, like Thresh' lantern for example
