RANK IDEA

Everyone needs to start out in BRONZE 5 when they enter rank. There is a varied skill diversity from bronze to silver. I am really tired of doing well and then losing one rank game, then suddenly every match up after is just a bunch of tanked scrubs that rarely play the game or have just started rank. This doesn't seem right and its a trend I have noticed since I have made it to silver. Every time I finally pull myself out of the lowered MMR status, I only have to lose one game and its like im back to bronze 2. Stop with the varied skilled players and simply put everyone at the bottom to start. Those that do well and figure it out will move forward and those that are not ready to move up will remain where they need to be to learn the game.

Those are my thoughts it seems pretty logical to me. I hope someone from RIOT reads this and says "Hey that is a solid suggestion".

What do you guys think?

I think this is a horrible idea, you should be placed based on how you play. I mean if you are diamond 1 and next season get started at bronze 5 the amount of people that would quit the game would ruin it. It's honestly a joke getting out of lower ranked, and if you are having a hard time doing so you more then likely belong there.

I started bronze 1 this season and within 120 games hit platinum. It doesn't matter what division you are in either, you will come across people with lesser skill from time to time. You just have to push through it and carry your team if you want to advance. It's called "Carry" for a reason. And the funny part is i'm a support main. So if I can get from bronze to platinum in 120 games you have no excuse playing the game as a carry.

A lot of people think hey i'm good I team fight so well I beat this other person. But they can't get ahead in ranked because they don't notice the small things. Like securing objectives, grouping up, Knowing when you have summoner advantages. Theirs ways to progress you just have to open your eyes.

P.S. I just looked up your stats and you don't have a single champ above a 3.0 kda and you average 7+ deaths a game. I mean that's pretty bad man, you need to improve your play style. You can't blame the system when other people get through it constantly with no issue. To me it looks like you have an issue with greed and you take bad trades. You need to think before reacting, like hey if I go for this kill will the jungle be near me etc etc.

I dont know if my KDA is bad for me trying to play normals and learn new champs but thats something to consider.

Also for ranked play what im really getting at is there are people that have very limited played games in rank that for some reason have the same MMR and/or rank status as me. However, these people really have no idea how to play the game or pull the "I wanna try this champ for the first time" card. It makes the rank experience really just a drag and for me even when I am ahead or in carry mode. There are some games that no matter how much you try and focus objectives everyone just runs around and charges mid and just feeds/chases/whatever to death that no matter how much you ping you are not going to stop it.

I am not saying that a diamond/master/whatever needs to go to bronze but if your starting out you need to go to bronze 5 and work your way up. Its not fair for the people to put up with players that are so underskilled in the game that it just drags down the ranking system and gameplay.
