yorrick, ive been playing this champ for awhile now. i like how he looks and his moves, but something is really wrong with his techniques. DARK POSSCESION, its a trap, but when other champs just walk through it, thats wrong. or when they jump it its wrong. its a CAGE to hold something in. ALSO HIS MINIONS DONT FOLLOW HIM, SOME TIMES THEY JUST STAND THERE. He is not considered a tank, and he isnt long range, but what you gave him is below average. he doesnt hit hard, slow as a snail, and armor sucks. Long range champs just tear him up. bottom line is his armor sucks. all this is beginning of game to about half way or so, then he will be able to buy some stuff. if im lucky i have not died 5 times, or im just running for my life. which they still catch me cause im slow. hmmmm. i dont want to stop playing yorrick, but with his lvl i see why no one else plays him. thanx for reading, listening. i believe make his trap a trap. no jumping, no walking through it. NOTHIN no spinning through it. NOTHIN. ITS A CAGE, AND AT LEAST MAKE HIM A LITTLE TOUGHER, FOR RANGE CHAMPS, THAT WAY HE STANDS SOME KIND OF CHANCE IN THE BEGINNING. thanx Dale,

First - this is a personal thing, irrelevant to your post but still worth mentioning; please break up your paragraphs. If in the typing box you see your words starting to near the end of the third line, break the paragraph and start a new one. 3-4 lines is fairly large, and you posted a wall of text, which is really difficult to read.

Second, Dark Procession is a situational tool with multiple uses; against Champions with high mobility with moderate cooldowns, you could use it to force them to blow their movement ability just to escape. Against champions with low mobility, you can use it to secure extra damage in a trade. As for people walking through it, the only people who can do that are on your team.

Imagine it as though it's sentient muck, or mud from the Shadow Isles; it knows who it serves (Yorick), so he and his allies can pass through unimpeded, whereas only agile foes of Yorick can break through the wall of corpulent flesh.

And as far as durability goes, I've never had much in the way of issue with it. Perhaps you may just be building him fairly lightweight? And, if you're running for your life, you may need to spend a bit of time mastering Yorick - he is an extraordinarily good duelist, and he can also dominate early game and get fed off of enemy ganks.

So, ultimately, I don't see any problem with his Dark Procession, and I fear you may be at the heart of your own issues with the Shepherd of Lost Souls.

Even if he doesn't reply, I say that was a beautiful description.

From an L7 Yorick player.

Yes, i was extremely upset at the time. And still am at some point. I see where you are going with everything and why you say that. Yes i was going kinda lightweight to get speed and quick kills. But on the dark Procession i have seen alistar walk throught it multiple times one game. and not just alistar there have been others. But thank you for your time and responce to my fustration.

Hm. In Alistar's case, that could be due to his Trample; using it allows him to ignore unit collision, so with that he probably ignores Dark Procession since, for the most part, it's a unit instead of terrain. Perhaps this is also the case for some of the other champions that appear ignorant to the wall of corpses, but I can't know for sure - but Alistar's case does provide insight nevertheless.

I'm glad that you came back to this with a level head, and I hope your future matches with Yorick do not suffer for unit-ignorant champions.
