It's only me or Malzahar seem's to be too OP

Today i played 3 times in mid lane, and got Malzahar all three times. We won the games, however the laning against Malzahar was liki a living hell. I might be doing something wrong but i have no how could i do a better job against him. He has nearly every tool to become a monster. Our luck was that he got a lot of kills from other lanes, his team was weak, so we won, but come on. Or if it's not OP then pls give me some advice. Mostly I play ranged champions but it feels bad, that i can't do anything.

Riot already did some nerfs to others, but they don't even talk about this guy....

He got nerfed with the rest, but it was more of a nerf to his jungling than to his laning

Malz isn't totally broken anymore like he was just after the rework. His passive is still annoying as hell, though.

malz was gutted and is useless, and if you lose to a malz it might either be due to the matchup or you are just bad or he/she might just be better

I played with aurelion sol all the times, with zero ganks while he got some ganks, but the problem was those little crabs what he can summon on me and they do a tonn of dmg, when i tried farm he just used other abilities, but he stayed out of my range most of the time. Yea it might be both since I'm support main not a midlaner. Can you guys give me some tips to improve myself against it, and some characters that preferred against him ?

I always have Touble with with AurelionSol so I may need to start playing Malzahar he's free this week so Good Timing!

I'm not an elite player but what has worked for me if I get stuck mid is hugging the turret, it will pick off those nasty little voids he summons and he is so so squishy your jg should be able to help you take him down quick.

I agree that fighting him in the open lane with another mage (I think the last time I was matched against him I was using Ziggs ) is tough, but I can see how other champs like Akali Katarina Yasuo wouldn't have trouble with Malzahar
