Nocturne's already interesting, cool, and quite frankly overpowered.

A rework will probably only do him harm.

That is recently though. He was sitting around 49 to 51% all of last season and maybe even peaked higher, was played in worlds, and was honestly really strong. This season though (preseason+) he has felt really bad. I played him a lot last season with a pretty good winrate (, this season I wont even try him in ranked.

This guys might be out of the times.

Ehhh, I think a few QoL buffs+some number buffs will make him viable.

I think a huge part of his problem is Rengar replaced him.

Q - Both AOE (currently until rengars changes) W - Some form of survival tool for dueling/engaging E - A slow/Root R - A pick tool.

Rengar generally can do everything Noc can and just feels more reliable, unless they change the e to some form of instant cc, but then he just because a Rengar clone basically. I probably needs a near full rework or those two will always be in the same book, just one on the first page, the other on the second.

Yeah, and Rengar's almost as bad as Nocturne, so again it's not just Nocturne's kit that's a factor.

Thing is Riot doesnt feel like Irelia is really fitting her concpet all that well. And Nocturne is planned in for the diver update.

Yea, after every class update being a failing mess, there are no reason to continue the trend.

Really think about it, juggs were broke and still suck in higher elo to this day, mages were fucked over and pissed off a ton of mains (malzahar in particular), Assassins were nerfed and revolve around lethality being meta or not, and tanks... just gunna press post there.

riot chooses their reworked depending on whether or not they know what to do with them.

Noc clearly needs a VGU, but riot isn't sure what exactly that VGU should be like, at least not as much as they'd know what they'd want to do with Swain/Irelia.

Better to have them think hard regarding nocturne, get some even more outdated shit taken care of Nunu Mordekaiser Skarner Akali Amumu Fiddlesticks , and come out with something super badass with as much prior thought into it as they can.

Another problem with Nocturne is depending how they build him he will probably be Another Rengar, or another Xin. The only reason he wasn't played much when he was stronger (last season) is Rengar just simply out classed him in most ways.

Nocturne's kit is fine overall.

The reason why he's so bad right now is because while there are a few reasons for you to pick him there are also 10 million things holding him back, namely shields, his early game mana costs, more shields, tanks, peel, MORE FUCKING SHIELDS, ADCs being overpowered and being able to effortlessly duel him, EVEN MORE FUCKING SHIELDS, more tanks, DID I FORGET TO MENTION SHIELDS?

You get the point. Nocturne's kit isn't at fault here, it's everything in the game being so grossly overpowered that he's left in the dust.
