Computer Help!

Alright, I've been having this computer lag problem for a while now. Whenever I play any game or anything else for more than around an hour or two, I get this massive frame drop and it pretty much makes the game unplayable for me. I'm pretty sure part of the problem is my computer overheating because the fan is always really loud, but It's been doing this since I got the computer. But, the thing is, when I got it, the fan was really loud but I never experienced any sort of lag spikes, or frame drops as I am now. If anybody could help me or explain why my computer is having these lag issues, please comment down below. It's much appreciated.

PS: Sorry this isn't really about League, but nobody ever really goes on the off-topic section on the forums anymore :/

Make sure your computer doesn't have any viruses if you haven't already.

How old is your computer? You may need to upgrade it, but without knowing a bit more about it its hard to tell. It might also be a RAM issue. The longer you play the less RAM you have. Had a similar issue with an old laptop. After a few hours everything slowed down regardless of what game. If you don't have any viruses I'd check into upgrading RAM first. Again this is with the very limited amount of info so it may not be completely right.
