Should i buy another champ just so i can play draft? / Am i ready for normal draft?

Hey guys thanks for stopping by. With the exciting season 6 upon us, i am hyped XD. I really like the new draft pick they implemented, especially the pre game role picking. I want to get into it asap and i have the IP to buy a 6th champ, but i dont know if i am ready for normal draft yet.

just to give some context the champ i probably will buy is Orianna

I am level 17 and only have 5 champs (as stated above). I have a champ for every role and although im not too experienced with them all i think i am decent I just wanted to see what your oppinions are on the subject, even if this was more of a personal kind of choice.

Thx in advance for answering ^^

I think you should be saving for runes if you havn't already, by lvl 20 you can by t3 runes, and obviously by lvl 30 you can fill an entire page.. I think with the decrease in price for runes you can get them "fairly cheap" for basic ones, but even so i think my first page was near 10k IP so at least 6k i think now.

Normal Draft if just like Normal Blind Pick except for each team gets to ban 3 champs. :) So basically if you're tired of seeing the same OP champs over and over in Blind Pick, you can play draft and have them banned.

Also pick order is the general rule of thumb in draft unless you and your teammates can agree on who goes where.

The new draft mode is actually really nice. As long you have a champion you can play in your two selected roles, you'll be fine. You can have one for each (for example, I picked mid and support with the intention of play Lux last game) or you can have different ones (I had my heart set on Ahri for mid and Janna for support). Also, you learn by playing. You're gonna screw up, that's true but that's how you learn. If you think you're ready, and comfortable with it, got for it. If not, just wait a little longer. You could also buy the champion, try it out and see if you like it. If not, go back to whatever it is you normally play for a while. Baby steps.

Hope that helps.

Not exactly true. Their champion of choice could always be banned or, as I highlighted in my post, could be banned by somebody who wants to be a troll.

Well, I'm pretty sure he/she can work around that if that does happen. Alternatively, don't tell your teammates your champion of choice. You don't get punished for that.

Thank you, it really did :D

Orianna is a very advanced champion and i certainly wouldn't recommend buying her so early. i've been level 30 for years and i still suck at her.

thx for the advice i appreciate it :) I personally think i will still buy her though because 1 i did pretty good with hernwhen she was free last week and 2 because she can fill multiple roles. Ik this was kinda an unesisary reply but i just wanted to clear up why i wanted her. thank you again though for the thought ^^

She's hard to play but you're not going to learn if you don't play her. (Don't worry, I suck with her too but she's really fun).
