mastery levels on all game modes

i love playing ARAM and i dont usually play summoners rift. i dont understand why can i only get mastery tokens from playing on summoners rift. i think this is really stupid, the way you exclusively promote this game mode and force everyone into playing it in order to progress in the game, even though you have 2 more game modes. there is no reason for that thing to happen and i really hope youll get yourself together and change it, because i cant even understand why would you create more game modes if you dont want players to be playing them. you must realize this is a really stupid idea and youre punishing me (by not letting me advance forward in the game) only for not playing the game mode YOU prefer, not ME, YOU!

The reasoning is that they primarily balance around SR, and according to the recent ARAM dev blog, their mastery grade calculations are very SR oriented.

As a result, getting S grades on some champs in TT/ARAM(/RGMs) might be way harder or way easier compared to standard rift, and they want (or at least, wanted) high mastery levels to actually mean something reflective of your skill with the champion, so when you see a mastery 6/7 player you should know they know how to play that champ pretty well by SR standards. If they broadened it, people wouldn't know if you played the champ well by SR standards, or by TT standards, or by ARAM standards. (ARAM in particular can lead to situations where S ranks pop out not by any great skill, but where your champion just happens to counter the entire enemy team, further reducing the legitimacy of mastery 6/7.)

That said, mastery 6/7 isn't actually that hard to get regardless of true skill with the champ, as one can more or less just spam SR matches and wait for one of those super stompy matches to be an afk farming kda player in for a somewhat reliable S rank. As such, mastery 6/7 doesn't actually mean much already, so it probably wouldn't hurt much for them to expand it to other modes (although on the other hand, since it doesn't mean much, them expending time/resources to expanding it isn't necessarily a great investment).

''force everyone into playing it in order to progress in the game''

I mean.... they aren't forcing you, and mastery levels aren't really any progress they're just kinda there. And it would take you really long time to get champ X to mastery lvl 7 because in Aram the champs are random. So..

it doesn't really matter. i was mentioning ARAM just as an example of what i like playing but it is the same for twisted treeline (where you can choose your champion). anyway, i did play a full game as a champion i'm mastery 6 with, i did really good and got an s grade. what reason is there for not giving me a mastery token? simply because i didn't play summoner's rift? my pc fails to load summoner's rift most of the game but i like this game so i mainly play ARAM (which my pc can load) and i get punished for doing so as i can't advanse any further with masteries like every other player can. simply not fair and stupid.

I understand your point and everything But the token system would have to be 'bit different on aram than it's on rift because i aram the champs are random and the team comps can be really effed up.
