What does this mean? and how long does this restriction last ? I got chat restricted a while ago, and i can't receive any loot from winning and performing well. How long will this last ?

It should be removed after a few weeks of no reports for being toxic
Friedwice7 votesno, its a terrible idea. the people were already punished with the chat restriction it doesn't need to be carried further whatsoever. You also lose all of your honor, so it is a jackas* thing to do to players. More or less they are encouraging raging and quitting their game that many people have spent tons of money on but have been a little too competitive at times and chirped a little bit.

iAffinity5 votesThere's also the simple reaction of having a % of people that can't get rewards seeing no reason to stop trolling. Whereas if you give them a reason not to - at least some of those will reform.

It was 5 games after i went a little to far when i called the enemy lb a whore. it was a joke me and my friends where doing where we tilted this one person on the enemy team. I did my time for it but im not a constantly banned or restricted person like i said this was my first. I wonder how long this restitution that happened once will be carried against me.

You need a good hard look at what Incentive and Detterent is. A chat ban is not a detterent a perma ban is not a deterrent accounts can be made without even using a real email. The only deterrent is time and perhaps money invested into an account all of which at some point become sacrificial. So.. No you should not try to not get banned, you should try to earn something for being good and failing that not get said thing. While chat restricted no loot makes PERFECT sense, afterwards.. well that's just a reason not to care so long as you don't use slurs you can feed and troll pick all day long and make other people "lose' their privilege of loot

Being chat restricted was lame and I did my "time" and I'd prefer not to get chat restricted again, if nothing else because it hampers my ability to make strategy in games. But now I have to wait 3 months while it tells me after every game that I would have gotten rewards except that I've been a bad boy and don't get a biscuit? Feels arbitrarily punitive.

No reason to play anymore. you've made it impossible for me to want to play this game for any reason. Its not fun knowing you cant advance or if you do it means nothing. Sorry, but this is a reason i play the game, to be competitive. Good luck on you're journey of catering to the on-line complainers. This is what ruined thousands of games in the past. Keep this up and you can surely see your game slowly deteriorating from inside out.

i feel like chat bans should be a couple weeks and suspensions are can be a couple months. Also to those of you complaining about not getting your free stuff cause you "earned it" figure it out. Riot has given away mystery gifts but only to those in good standing and hadn't received a punishment in x amount of time, hextech is the SAME THING except it is also partially skill based.
Prove you've reformed and you'll get your free stuff, right now you're proving that you haven't reformed.

No, what we are saying is that when people hard troll us and we get afks all the time in promos. It gets frustrating and sometimes you want to let it out in chat. Then we get banned from chat from 10 games. After we play our 10 games now we cant even get a new feature. Seems pretty messed up especially for people who have put huge amounts of time and money into it. I wish they had a better system for people who were picking troll champs or for when a person takes advantage of an afk. But rito will do whatever they want cause they make plenty of money off of new people who dont know the ways.

A man hits another man and is fined for 300 dollars. Amongst sensible people, once the punishment has been doled out bygones are bygones. Amongst people with your logic once the punishment has been doled out they deserve to be harassed constantly for the next year because "they assaulted me!".
Go grow a pair; once the sentence has been served you are no longer to be punished for your crimes. Its common sense, a feature which so many carebears seem to lack.

While I can completely understand not receiving rewards during punishment, 3 months is ridiculous and I have to agree about finding a new game to dive into. Its awful to have spent so much time and money on a game to all of a sudden feel like a free to play member who cant access a certain aspect of the game. Definitely looking for some sort of new mmo and making a pact to never spend anything but lp again.
Dark Sun Rising2 votesIf it is a 3 month no rewards set up, I believe it to be overkill. Then just play another game for 3 months, in which RIOT will receive no purchases from that player. Perhaps the player will just move on to another game all together. RIOT wins!, except for income loss, but RIOT does not think past today or outside the box. The end result from that kind of reform can be devastating after awhile. How many fun games have you seen just flat disappear because of poor and inefficient decisions made by company employees? Perhaps they may want to think things through a bit more on some of those ideas. And the sad truth is that the real trolls do not care. They just make another account and troll more, toss away ranked games, make the good player loose their cool and say something that leads to a restricted speech of game, and after that is over restricted from any kind of reward. Does this seem logical? Smart move by any company? Think thing through RIOT. You still do not have GM's that can follow a game and take action first hand to see the real truth in what causes some of these issues. But doing that you might actually punish the real culprit in some cases.

If riot would do more looking into troll play and free feeds getting punished and less time concentrating on salt, then they will get somewhere. Eimas1 votesBecause of this restriction doesn't end and i want loot i created 4 account smurfs in different regions, there is very bad players that should be punished for feeding. In logical way, if there wouldn't be any feeding blasts from players others wound't be enraged and wouldn't behave inappropriate. I assume that feeding players should get restrictions that provoke anger while you trying to increase the rank. How it can't be no anger when you trying to increase rank then after wasted many time you are in the same point where you started, just because of other players that don't put effort in learning new stuff and brainlessly playing against more experienced player, I'm not saying I'm legendary player everyone feeds time to time. But players with experience can recover and don't feed in score like 0/15/3. So I won't stop flaming on people that do nothing good, now i have 4 flaming accs, from 1 to 4, because of this restriction. IF you really want to make a change RIOT. Create a system that would took a level 30 from players, that loses many games in count of number of deaths in game.

Laim1 votesI kinda hate the idea of this, got a chat restriction a while back for flaming my actual troll team and now i can never earn loot, online it says i will recieve loot once my behaviour improves but after every game i play i see you are ineligible to earn loot due to recent behaviour or whatever and it makes me tilt hard, they introduce 9000 new crates and keys and skins then ban people from getting them, im pretty angry with riot about this loot restriction, quitting league till i can get the loot i earned
