Skill Shot Debate

Me and my friends were having a skill shot competition in aram playing only skill shot champions 3v3. I chose to play gangplank and would only do damage with my barrels and ultimate but the opposing teams ahri got butthurt and said barrels were not a skill shot. I wasn't even doing the phantom barrel combo, so all the barrel chains were dodgable, so is it a skill shot???? (btw the salty ahri always killed me with damage from w and r while complaining that I was not using skill shots smh.)
