Advice a new champion - 4800 IP

Hey, I'm new to this. I liked playing with Kindred, Lux and Xerath from free-rotation. Could anyone give me advice what to buy for 4800 IP ? (similar to those champions) (edit: what about Nocturne?)

I think Ezreal is 4800 now, so he's pretty good for Xerath players.

I'm a big fan of Xerath. He's a solid safe choice for mid lane. I found him easy enough to pick up for the odd times I end up getting stuck in mid lane (not a mid laner by trade). He has a good impact if you fall behind or get ahead and his long range provides you a lot of safety from assassins if you need it. He has some semi-good CC and great mana sustain from his passive so that managing his resources is easy too. [slayer-jinx-catface]
