Im trying to pick a champion for each role so that I can fill and always play someone I enjoy and am good at. Any help is greatly appreciated. Adc would most likely be cait but that is the only one I have. I own all champions

learn kayle really well. she can fill every role outside adc, and is hardly banned anymore.

Jungle > J4

Mid > Akali

Support > Thresh

Adc > Cait

Top > Darius

Bumping because I also find myself needing to figure out who I want to play mid/top/jungle when I get stuck in those roles.

I used to play Ryze top, but it appears that the nerf hit him really hard, as his win rate has plummeted and the few times I have played him recently I have found him just too weak early to really impact the game.

I used to play Warwick jungle, but then he started being a constant ban, and now he's still banned very frequently.

I used to play Morgana mid, but then she started being a constant pick/ban for support, and now she's still frequently banned.

Ideally I would love to find a champ I could play both top and jungle, as I don't play either role that frequently and it would be nice to keep my champion pool small to give myself the best chance of actually mastering some nuances of the champion's kit.

Mid I am not as worried about; I have plenty of mid laners I can play, I think I just need to go back to playing Zed more in this assassin meta.

learn a jungler that can also play a lane role. Jarvan IV would be a good choice there. You can jungle J4 and take him top lane with great success in both roles.

personally I recommend learning an AP champ and an AD champ for both mid and top lane. If you learn to play Azir he can do mid and top as well which covers you for top lane. If you don't want to learn a second midlaner then that's fine, but Zed or Talon would be a great pickup if you can invest some time in them.

For bot lane I recommend an AD with some mobility. Personally I love sivir, but if you want to go with the meta everyone is playing Graves right now. Tristana is also a solid pick if you aren't confident in your laning and midgame and you just want to farm and scale.

You can also play J4 as a support if you want. His passive is really good and he brings CC and tankiness for your AD. If you'd rather a more traditional support then I'd recommend a healer like nami or sona which will help you win lane very frequently.

If your looking for one champ with the most flexability, if I'm translating this correctly

Gnar -Natural top, Good at most mid matchups, can adc carefully, can jung though thats a tough one Karma - Can go top mid and support, excells at all three Lucian - In my experience does well mid and top as well as ADC, little tricky but doable

In before Urgot.

Seriously, just find champions you like, since it doesn't matter as much where you play them, but how you play them. Of course some are better at certain roles than others (Lux jungle can be hard but extremely effective. AD Ahri can be a monster with her charm and dashes).

As for me: Top: Shyvana, Singed Jungle: Vi, Wukong Mid: Lux, Zyra ADC: Miss Fortune, Ashe Support: Soraka, Zyra
