You should know by now that when you are duo queuing riots system is adjusting the game to be harder for you because riot is going to assume that since you are with a friend they expect you to have some form of communication with them other than the chat box i.e. voice comms and general understanding of how each other play therefor having an advantage over the enemy team because you can work well with your partner. So it raises the mmr of the other team and lowers the mmr of your current team because you are automatically expected to have a bigger advantage. Which would explain the trolling as well. They stick you with a team that players in past games have notably not tried, trolled, afk'd and expect you to carry them because of those communication privileges you are sharing with your partner. I have always felt duo should have never been an option, that solo queue is SOLO for a reason. With this new champ select and the option to even queue up with 4 other friends now going to be an option you can expect the same results as a 5v5 team ranked match the only people who are going to suffer are the ones that play by themselves.
