so i dont know how people can defend him his E and Q or OP i hear that there hard to land but every fizz seems to do it with ease and thet fact that i cant hit him is just way too OP. i mainly Talon mid and i expect to lose lane but this is just too much. i understand some moves are untargetable but even in master Yis case he has to hit a unit with fizz he can do it when ever he wants to

Fizz isn't really that OP. Play a champ with heavy cc and build bruiser (like Swain or Lissandra ). Destroy him (read: play very aggressive) before he gets his combo and he'll be useless. If you want an OP assassin, look at Akali .

(Also @papafizz, Yasuo isn't an assassin. He's a fighter)

The problem with straight up assassin champs in LoL is solo q.

It's hard enough to get people to group as 5... let alone actually deal with countering an assassin. Usually what ends up happening is the team takes the assassin one at a time and gets wiped.

One guy gets caught out... deleted. Another guy is nearby and thinks he can help... deleted. The remaining 3 players all rush in to try and do something.... the opposing team comes in and CC's them... assassin then proceeds to delete, delete, delete. GG.

It's not about Katarina's ult at all. She doesn't even need it if she gets a couple levels ahead of everyone.

While I understand that fed champs are a problem in general... fed assassin's are the biggest problem.

You ever see a fed Master Yi? Yeah, that game is over in solo q. I've watched a Yi literally dive people under turret no problem and barely even take a scratch of damage. He's basically impossible to outrun once he is fed... so he just runs all over the place picking off people until the team surrenders. Something just needs to be done about these snowball champs that can fight through the entire team without a care. Like... limit their resources or something so they can only kill 1-2 people like that before they have to slow down and actually be cautious about continuing.

But right now it's like "YAY I GOT A KILL. NO STOPPING ME NOW! WEEEEEEEE!!!!" and then you just faceroll the keyboard until you get an ace.

Really the only thing I'm disliking about this game is for some champs to have the ability to completely erase an ENTIRE team by themselves if not stopped.

Seriously... it's really broken and I know the only reason they allow it is for those "big LCS plays" because it's thrilling to watch one player jump from target to target, cleaning house. Hence the announcers getting super excited when tristana is literally jumping from target to target, finishing them off for quadra/penta kills...

It's like they designed certain champs exactly to get penta kills

Konidias11/14/2014, 7:02:47 AM4 votes

case in point, a katarina just carried the enemy team because she was jumping from target to target and deleting everyone.

"oh you got a kill katarina? congrats! you get gold, xp... oh and here's 15 second cooldown reduction on ALL of your skills!"

"oh you got a kill non-broken champ? congrats! you get gold, xp... and... yep that's it!"

He isn't really much of an OP but is just frustrating to play against.

His Q is targetted. It's impossible to not land if you're in range for it. His e isn't that hard to land either and it's a get out of bad positioning free card. Lee Sin wishes he was as untouchable as Fizz.

Seriously, build some CC vs Kat and save it for the ult. It's simple as that. Last night in ARAM I saved my fear as Fiddle for any time she decided to ult. She Shunpo's in and starts to ult, I fear and then drain. Dead Kat.

And as for the OP, yes Fizz is one of those champs like Akali, Yasuo, few others that if they get rolling they're going to be a nightmare. That's their nature all around. They are weak early, and if you let them start racking up kills they just snowball out of control. Key is to know this going in and get your jungler or other lanes to help you make sure they are only completing their 3rd item by 30 minutes. Fizz with Zhonyas, boots and a NLR at 25 minutes is not very scary. Fizz with Zhonyas, boots, LichBane, Rabbadon's, etc... at 25 minutes is like some hellish fever dream.

play this guy Darius in mid and Fizz gonna cry blood tears...literally!!!

Not op, just toxic as all hell. Either to well and unfun to play against, or do crappy and unfun to play as.

had a shit fizz on my team yesterday - he went 1/10 in laning phase fed like a beast the whole team ... he lost lane all the way up to base , so mid-late game he roams to my jungle farms up and gets some items .. he ended that game 19/12 as team fights turned into a fizz pole dance .... i had no fun whatsoever trying to deal with his mistakes for most of the game only to have him use my farm late game as his meal ticket to the majority of the kills ... was i happy we won after nearly 50 minutes ... i dont even know ... did i have fun .. NOPE ...

PapaFizz11/15/2014, 7:02:57 PM1 votes

Everyone who looked at my name and immediately thought I'm a fizz player is a jack ass. Fizz is broken I wont bb defending him.

PapaFizz11/14/2014, 3:11:08 AM1 votes

No hes not....

Hahaha I kid. His kit is a little bit better than yasuo's. Rito's new meta, Soon™: Assassins capable of wiping an majority of a team and live (See yasuo).

shadecrapper12/30/2014, 5:48:34 AM1 votes

I wouldnt say he is OP. A lot of people know how to lane against him and know what he does. If you are a melee champ laning against him then good luck. But if you arent, you out range him and there isnt much he can do about it. The people that say "his Q, E, and R make it so he can get close to you super fast" well those are his damage also. They have long cool downs early game and having to burn them to get to you makes his damage out put laughable. If he gets pushed to tower early its gg for Fizz. Unless he roams. Then he can get back and do something. Mid vs Zed, Ryze, or a ranged mid laner is rather hard. Zed is just as slippery, if not more, and you cant use your E because you are saving it to stop his ult. Then against a Yasuo... Well I hate Yasuo because his shield. It stops a lot of trade potential and he slams you for a tone of damage. Fizz is too dependent on items to be OP. Early on his mana is a joke. 250 or something like that, while is E costs 100. A full combe takes half his mana. While mid laners that dont have mana can spam their abilities at you the whole time.

I have quite a bad time against Fizz, because I don't know what to do against him :/ He has quite a decent winrate in ranked, though Sometimes people know how to handle him but how though.

Electrosphere11/14/2014, 7:01:45 PM1 votes

Stay outside of 550 range and profit, if you are within 550 range, he can W+Q onto you then it is nearly impossible to dodge his E unless flashing. If you poke around 600 range it is really easy to dodge his E. Also you need to have some sort of advantage when he gets ult, getting sharked is almost same as getting killed. Shark is still tricky to dodge if you are not expecting it.

I do pretty ok with Mordekaiser against Fizz.

trexmixG11/15/2014, 1:44:10 AM1 votes

I'm tired of the "x champ is OP" argument. I get so much crap for playing Akali, because I'm a "noob" who only uses "OP champs," when in reality, I enjoy using her and if you don't like that I can carry, pick her or another "OP" champ yourself. I understand that some champs are better than others-- in this case, CHOOSE THE GOOD ONES that you are good with. Honestly, it doesn't matter if and OP champ is in the hands of the noob.
