Howling Abyss Feature Request

Can we get a draft mode for Howling Abyss? ARAM is by far my favorite way to play this game. I think people would love it even more if you could put together your own team. Draft mode would add a lot of balance to Howling Abyss. Some champions have and always will be way too overpowered on ARAM. If we could have 2 bans and pick our own champions I think a lot of people would take howling abyss much more seriously and it would turn into something big. Something much more competitive.

There have been rumours of a ranked ARAM, but it's apparently not coming. I think adding draft to howling abyss would be perfect for adding a new type of ranked gameplay to the game.

If you can't add a draft mode, can we at least get 2 bans per team before the random champions are selected? Some champions are by far way too powerful on ARAM.

Draft maybe but the game design around ARAM and the balancing means 2 bans still might not be enough, I probably wouldn't ban Ziggs or Velkoz as I can dodge their stuff but perma ban Akali and Garen. However I'm all for diversity is game modes on Howling Abyss, this can be ARAM with bans, All Melee only, all ranged only. Stuff like that.

I seem to remember ADAM being a somewhat popular custom mode. No idea how popular, though.

I'll never support a ban phase for ARAM because I'd rather not have to wait even longer to get into games and really don't like the idea of never getting the chance to see certain champions on either team due to people permabanning specific ones.

What I do think would be reasonable is for Riot to exercise their statistics and autoban a number of champions per patch. Take the 10 champions with the highest ARAM win % of a patch and ban them for the entirety of the following patch. Since they have 0 play for that whole patch, they are then ineligible for the autoban for the next patch. This means people overwhelmed by those champions will get a reprieve without permanently removing people's ability to play them. The most ridiculously unbalanced champs for the game mode would likely end up being available only every other patch, but so be it.

Draft, no. But i do think there should be roles.

Artillery(Jayce/Lux/Ezreal/Chogaoth/etc etc) long range pokers basically. ADC. Tank. Engage. Support or Assassin(randomized roll)

too often matches are... Team real comp vs team no comp. Team real comp wins by default.
