What do i do against assassins in teamfights as Miss Fortune?

I'm just fed up with every fight being 4v5 because an assassin comes along and shits on me. What can i do to prevent myself from getting rekt every teamfight? I know i can do positioning, but then they just come up from behind my team and nothing is won.

ADCs are nothing except free food for bruisers and assassins. Theres nothing you can do except sit completely out of the fight, as in you are nowhere even near. Youre not making it a 4v5 because if that assassin/bruiser/tank wants your nuts, they will often literally not use any cds and do nothing as they are looking for you. So its 4v4. Theyll get impatient and jump someone else, and thats when you come in.

Keep your distance, and hope team will peel for you. Alternatively you can try to help yourself by taking exhaust.

If they are coming up from behind, that means you guys don't have vison, which can be solved by warding around before A fight.

Also, it might be smart to grab a Pink ward before fights, put them in a bush where a fight is developing, clear the bush of wards, and wait in there until the teamfight starts. Because you want to stay away from the assassins, try to not come out until hey go in on another target (which is pretty fast in low elo). Might help.

Miss Fortune practically is a team-fight assassin. Her insane damage hits the front line as well as the back line.

You might be ulting too far up. Try ulting from brush or from behind walls.

Stay back a bit and wait for your team to either land some CC on the enemy team then go in, or try to ult from angles the enemy team isn't expecting. As MF you kind of need peel so there isn't a whole lot you can do if a fizz or zed keep diving you without the help of your team.
